Great video! I’m going to pull out some of your delicious Oriental Beauty and brew it “Grandpa Style” now. Thanks for sharing this valuable information and Can-Can finger dancing!
@@floatingleavestea2891 , I did enjoy Oriental Beauty in a cup! I re-watched the video while I brewed. That OB is actually enjoyable using almost any method, I think. I've been doing a lot of "cereal bowl" brewing lately as I review your fundamentals podcasts, and it's been very interesting. I'll go back to my teapots soon, but I think this video is really great to share with friends who don't have 4 teapots and 3 gaiwans like I do. I can hardly wait to see what question you decide to answer in 2 weeks!
Like in the video, you can start with a simple cup and an electric kettle. If you want to get more involved, a gaiwan (floatingleaves.us/collections/teaware/products/goldfish-gaiwan-large) and some tea cups will be nice.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge on tea! Just getting started with brewing loose leaf! Oolong is my favorite 😊
Love the video, and especially the Can Can dance! Very fun!

cool tea pet
How big is the gaiwan you use at the end of the video?
I would estimate about 150-180ml, it's fairly large.
