I know what it feels like to be frustrated with myself and want GOD to just change me in one GO, but I have come to realize it doesn't happen like that for everyone. The journey will take us to GOD. If we accept Him, He will be with us. He is right beside us all the way. Be encouraged. If we keep looking at ourselves, we will see just failure and disappointment. When we look and keep looking at JESUS, we see PEACE and Mercy and love and forgiveness.

44:28 God intervenes every day! He wakes us up in the morning because if we weren’t protected while we sleep Satan and his angels would kill us, but God’s angels protect us.
He protects us while driving and in all our activities otherwise Satan would kill us. The angel of the Lord encamps around about them that fear the Lord. God’s fingerprints are all over our lives because we can’t protect ourselves against the devil.

How can you glorify God when you exercise or play outside ( relaxing ) ?
Well remember, you are not you own, you are God's creation.
By doing what is good for your body, like eating, drinking healthy and exercising, to maintain your body in good shape, you are glorifying God and showing that you are greatful for what He has given you.
God made a whole day specifically for us to rest ( not necessarily sitting the whole day ), and this day is to rest physically and spiritually by seeking His presence and reaching out to Him in prayer. Sabbath is a day for spending time with God.
Of course when you do this keep in mind what is good for you, according to the light that God has given you and most importantly according to His word, the Bible.
I hope this helps someone wondering about this question like I was.

If you are working on the Sabbath in a Hospital, the money you make that day is not yours, it belongs to God as we are to serve or help on the sabbath without pay, so the solution is that part of your paycheck is Gods. Use it to buy Bibles, help feed the homeless, etc.

As for working "good" jobs on the Sabbath I'd suggest alternating schedules. I recall reading this is how the watchmen of biblical times did it since they needed watchmen at the gates at all times. I don't think it is in the Bible though. I read it in a history book or article.
As for UFOs, some would say the chariots of fire could be considered as such.

But "Why" did the Bible only condone lifelong chattel slavery and never once tell us it was wrong? How or why were the Israelites supposed to know that slavery was wrong if God never told them that, and instead only told them that they could if they wanted to? And how to do it correctly? I've never understood this.

    • @Patience7813
      @Patience7813 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

Hi. Take the time to go through Exodus chapters 7-14. God fought for Israel. He took them out of slavery/bandage. No one wants to be a slave. It is disobedience to God and following their own way that often caused the people of Israel to end up to be in slavery. God. Look at Exodus 14:19,20....God did so much to keep Pharoah and his army from getting close to the Israelites. God never intends for people to be as slaves. Even in disobedience, laws were put in place on how to properly treat those who were considered as slaves

    • @nickbrasing8786
      @nickbrasing8786 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@Patience7813 I have read all that. Your focusing on God freeing the Hebrews from slavery in Egypt and I'm talking about the Bible legalizing and condoning lifelong chattel slavery once they get to Israel. And the native Hebrews were excluded from that for the reasons you mentioned. After Egypt God said they could no longer be made slaves again. Because they were His slaves. But foreigners?
      You might try reading Leviticus 25:44-46;
"As for your male and female slaves whom you may have: you may buy male and female slaves from among the nations that are around you. You may also buy from among the strangers who sojourn with you and their clans that are with you, who have been born in your land, and they may be you property. You may bequeath them to you sons after you to inherit as a possession forever. You may make slaves of them, but over your brothers the people of Israel you shall not rule, one over another ruthlessly"
This is the Bible condoning lifelong chattel slavery. Not just laws regulating it but legalizing it. Which I don't think you were aware of?

@@nickbrasing8786 You are forgetting that back then (before Jesus' came) ALL "foreigners"/"strangers"/"sons of the stranger", etc (any one not of the line of Abraham/Isaac/Jacob) were pagans. Only the Israelites worshiped the true God of all creation.
God promised Abraham his descendants would inherit Canaan (the promised land). All those pagans nations were either destroyed, subverted, or made tributary to the rightful owners of the lands.
But I believe there was also a 7-year limit for a bondman/bondwoman with the option to continue in service once their 7-year term was over.

    • @davidstarr6604
      @davidstarr6604 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

A spiritual Jew is a born again, saved, Christian. God's people are in every church. Just because someone says they are SDA does not necessarily mean he (or she) is a Christian......
But in my studies throughout the years of the different teachings/theologies of several Christian churches I believe the teachings of the SDA church are closer to bible true than any other.
You're gonna find both good AND bad apples in EVERY barrel you look in to.
What should matter to you the most is your own relationship with Jesus. How does He treat you? A loving brother, a lost sheep, a child of God. How do you treat Him? Obedience? Disrespect?

I understand why many believe women shouldn't be pastors but I still see no Biblical reference that dictates they cannot be ordained. Yes I've seen where the Bible says husbands should keep their wives silent or something but I don't believe it means women can't preach. If they can be prophetesses why can't they be preachers? A prophetess is allowed to speak in church, right? She'd have to. I also saw no rules or regulations in any Levitical laws on the matter. I could be missing something so please inform me if I am.

Your question would take hours to explain in detail. I'll try to make this short. There is no specific verse that says Jesus had to go have His sacrifice "approved".
You need an understanding of the OT Levitical way of dealing with sins. His disciples had this knowledge. The blood of the sacrifice had to be sprinkled on the mercy seat to cleanse the sanctuary of sin (Lev 16).
The mercy seat was a solid gold capstone/lid of the ark of the covenant. It was where God would manifest Himself in the Shekinah glory in the earthly temple. This is why the mercy seat was made with the 2 cherubims, one on either side. II Kings 19:15; Ps 80:1; Isa 37:16
It is the throne of God.
Mary was not allowed to touch Jesus at His resurrection because He had not yet ascended to His Father. Yet later He came back and told His disciples to touch Him and see that He was flesh and bone and not a disembodied spirit.
      Does this help?

Acts 2:17And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Act 2:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Act 2:19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
Act 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
Act 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Deborah was also a minister and took the Israelite Army to war in Judges chapter 6 there are many women preachers in the Bible and there will be till Jesus comes again.
Don't trust man in his teachings only trust the word of God and show yourself approved. It's better to put your trust in the Lord than your confidence in man it's better to put your trust in the Lord and your confidence in princes 118 Verse 8/ 9 KJV

They had a higher moral standard back then. Just looking at Noah's naked body was an immoral act against him. This is why his brothers Shem and Japheth walked backwards with a blanket to cover Noah up so they would not commit that same immoral act against him.

So many people think Jesus is God the father but forget that Jesus told the pharisees they would see him again standing next to the fathers throne to his right, you also forget Jesus admits he can do nothing without the father for he only does as he sees the father do, you guys also forget Jesus said that when he judges he's not alone that the father is with him, you forget Jesus also said that I and the father are one, that didn't mean that jesus is just the father in the flesh! When Jesus said he and the father are one he meant how they are one in nature, one with how they think, love, show mercy and grace! Your child doesn't just remind people of you by how they look but also how they act at times which can remind people of you making you guys one. To say different is saying that the new testament which is about the son of God is a lie, it's like saying God lied to us and pretended to be his own son making him a liar and a sinner, so if the new testament is about the son of God being our lord and savior and the father giving his only begotten son the world, then why would God perpetrate his only begotten son? There seems to be enough proof out the mouth of Jesus that says they aren't the same being, Jesus is the son of GOD and i believe my bible don't lie when it says jesus is the son of God! To say different means jesus lied and god lied about his only begotten son and that all these scriptures are a lie! The difference between me and your kind is i believe God really sent his ONLY begotten son, NOT THE FATHER IN THE FLESH, you guys think God was jesus in the flesh which is technically saying your god lied about having a son and perpetrated him in the flesh! Also if man was created yet and his soul wasn't created until God breathed the breath of Life into his nostrils, plus angels aren't in God's Image so who was God talking to when he said LET US MAKE MAN IN OUR IMAGE? You'll also notice in proverbs it mentions the son of God showing their not the same being!
Genesis 1:27 KJV - So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Proverbs 30:3-4 KJV - I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy. Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?
John 1:18 KJV - No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
John 3:16-18 KJV - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Hebrews 11:17 KJV - By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
1 John 4:9 KJV - In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Hebrews 12:2 KJV - Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
John 5:19 KJV - Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
John 8:16 KJV - And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
John 14:10 KJV - Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
John 8:18 KJV - I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
John 17:1 through 5 KJV - These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
1 Timothy 2:4 through 6 KJV - Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
Matthew 28:18 KJV - And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Galatians 1:1 KJV - Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)
John 5:18 KJV - Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
1 John 2:22 KJV - Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
Ephesians 4:13 KJV - Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Luke 18:19 KJV - And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
I said it before and I'll say it again, I believe God sent his only begotten son and gave him the world, you guys believe God the father was Jesus in the flesh, technically meaning your God perpetrated his own son in the flesh! either you believe God sent his only begotten son or you believe he was perpetrating his only begotten son in the flesh, which is it?
To claim God the father was Jesus in the flesh is denying the son by saying it was the father, also to say Jesus was really God the Father sounds more like a belief of the world not actual scripture, I believe people make more out of scripture when it's pretty clear! Jesus being the father in the flesh is just man's theory on interpreting scripture!

I really dont believe that women should be pastors,or preach .There are so many other things that women can do, in the church, an out . We can visit the sick ,we can take food for the old an helpless ,,keep their company , so many older pple are so lonely etc etc . Because we are not participating in church ,where there are many to participate ,dont mean we are not doing our best to do Gods work , in our capacity . Thank you both God bless you.

If a man came up to you and said it is OK to kill your neighbor. take his unwilling wife to your bed, sell his children OR
A woman came up to you and said NO these things are wrong
Which one would you believe? The woman that should not be speaking on such religious matters anyway? Or the man, perhaps trained in the indoctrinated teachings of his church?
If you belong to Jesus then God recognizes no such racist and judgemental attitudes:
Gal 2:8 "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither MALE nor FEMALE: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."

Doug Batchelor, and Jean Ross, why both of you, not mentioning, not preaching, not reading, and not teaching these passages Romans 2:16. Romans 16:25. 2 Timothy 2:8. 2 Corinthians 12:16? Why is it majority of pastors, preachers, and teachers, including both of you everytime doing your presentation these scripture passages are always left out...never mentioned, never studied? Are there scripture prohibitions, restrictions not to discuss about? If both of you are truly so called men of God, why not, as the whole intent and purpose of the gospel of Jesus Christ is to bring light into this dark world for the knowledge of eternal salvation, and also that is to prove that both of you are really ambassadors or representatives of Jesus Christ...otherwise false prophets in its case.

Rom 2:16 "In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel."
Rom 16:25 "Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,"
II Tim 2:8 "Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:"
II Cor 12:16 "But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile."
I don't get the point? Are you calling someone a false teacher because they don't mention those above texts?
Rom 2:16 - Adventists DO preach a judgement by God. There are 3 in fact but this particular verse relates to the FINAL Judgement (also mentioned in Joel 3:9-15)
Rom 16:25 - Adventists teach Jesus on the cross. Salvation by grace through faith. THIS was the mystery kept secret since the world began up to that time.
II Tim 2:8 - Yep, born of the seed of David and raised from the dead.
II Cor 12:16? I don't see how this relates......

Actually all the references to Jezebel in the OT are actual historic accounts not prophetic or symbolic in nature (except where her death was foretold). In the NT the word appears only once (Rev 2:20) and is, of course associated with Balaam and the Nicolatians (Rev 2:6, 9 and 15). This warning about accepting pagan practices and teachings is given throughout the 7 messages to the 7 churches in one way or another.
