Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. What a beauty your quilt is. Thank you also for the anti quilt shaming message. We all have a different journey that should be celebrated and encouraged by others. Life is hard, we should be encouraging and celebrating all quilting hurtles! Again what a beautiful quilt and how kind of you to share!
I'm working on hand quilting a quilt for one of my grandkids. I just got to chance to sit down and watch you work. Thanks for posting this video! Very enjoyable!
Beautiful! Tula Pink has those things happen in her bindings. Tula always discusses the the challenges in her own quilts which is why I like sewing her patterns.
I want to say I absolutely love that quilt it is beautiful. And yes every quilt is different every thing you do about it is different and if you choose to do long- arm that's cool. Like you say every quilt is different and means something different. Have a great week
I LOVE it!! It’s beautiful ❤. I call my imperfections - perfectly imperfect. It’s taken me a lifetime to embrace imperfections. And it is art. Art is subjective. Kudos to you and making your Tula Nova. You’ve inspired me to make one now too!
Thank you Capi for Sharing your journey making this quilt. I have had this pattern for a while now and just kept thinking I could not do this why did I buy it. Now I am inspired by what you have shared I cut out my center and am now piecing it and giving myself permission to take my time and enjoy the process. So thank you thank you thank you. You are truly and inspiration. CJ
Awe that's sweet! I am so happy to hear you cut out your pieces. You will find the perfect pace that allows you to enjoy and look forward to your piecing journey!
Thank you for taking us through the process. I am making a Tula Nova and Starting to ponder how to finish it. Seeing yours is a big help. I bet there are other people who will benefit from your experience. I think it looks great.
Your quilt is beautiful, I think it would look really nice on the floor. No one comes in my office/sewing room but me and I would enjoy something like that.
Just finished basting my medallion to Tula’s black & white Pom Pom fabric & I love it so much. After watching this I realized I probably need to cut the background down as have 10” all around the medallion & love that your background is smaller framing it. Thanks for the tip in your 1st video about trimming the back of the medallion to prevent puckering when quilting. I do my own quilting & this w/b a challenge. Your quilt came out gorgeous, I love it. ❤
I just found your You Tubes on this quilt and I have to say it is just perfect - absolutely gorgeous. I love EPP and have three projects in the works. I give a LOT of credit of tackling a Tula Pink right off the bat. Your choice of fabrics and the fussy cutting - amazing job, truly amazing!. Keep up the good work! Also love the party on the back! So glad I found your channel.
Thank you, watched every video before I’ve begun, learnt so much. I am sorry to hear of your home fire, keep strong, my heartfelt wishes to you, Kris in 🇬🇧
Good afternoon, I LOVE ❤️ it !!! Very good job with your 1st EPP quilt. I am sorry to hear about your lost due to the fire, your piece should be called Phoenix
I meant to compliment you on the very creative choice that you made to not just use one of Tula’s templates “as is,” but you showed us variations. Specifically, dividing a triangle into three separate pieces. Way to go!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and processes! So sorry about the fire. I don't think people understand how devastating a fire is until you go through it! Your quilts beautiful!
My goodness, Capi-this is stunning. I hope you named her “Opus” because she is certainly worthy of that name. I have followed this project from the first video. Thank you for being vulnerable to share your journey with us. Wow….just wow.
Congratulations! The quilt is gorgeous and you have every right to be proud of it. I recently started EPP and know how much work goes into it. I am also considering having mine long-armed once the piecing is done just because it's such a great way to collaborate with another artist! 🙂
Enjoyed seeing all the new. That little thread cutter looks like a great item. Sometime maybe you could do a what’s new on the notion wall. Seeing all the new tools to make life easier. Peter how’s your snowman doing? Do you have a pillow yet?
Absolutely beautiful! What a work of art! I am so sorry to hear about your fire, I know that is devastating, my sister had a fire. Can hardly wait for your next project
So inspiring to see how you finished your beautiful Nova. I’m on the last row of mine and was growing weary. You’ve given me the impetus to keep going. Thank you.
Capi, Thank you SOOOOOO much for sharing your journey. I have enjoyed every step "with you". I too love EPP and get great pleasure from start to finish. I have started my own journey that involves several different block shapes that will create a whole quilt. I do have a question, when working with EPP blocks, such as flowers and diamonds, should I make all the individual "blocks" or work in rows that include parts from many different blocks? Your Tula Nova is fabulous! Great selection of fabrics and colors.
The best way to know is to try both methods and see which works best for you! Working the individual blocks allows you to see how the geometry makes new designs within each block!

Capi is pondering it!
A very beautiful finish!
What’s next?! : )
Thank you! Capi is working on Tula Bloomers. She is contemplating the layout and may be down scaling the size into a smaller quilt!
It came out beautifully. Please share your quilter’s information.
