Quackshot always felt like an inferior Duck Tails sequel that baked in odd difficulty simply to make the game last longer. After watching this, I'm convinced of it. And if people like it, cool. I'm not gonna dog on you or it. I just never had fun with this game despite a number of friends' telling me to give it a chance and now I've seen it all. I'm good.

A lot of the Carl Barks/Don Rosa comics had Donald and Scrooge and all of the Ducks (except the nephews parents :( ) going on pyramid and jungle adventures. Ducktails was based on these comics. Yes, I'm an unashamed Donald Duck fan. Because screw Mickey. It's Donald or GTFO!
It's very frustrating watching him get hurt by the fat ghost that splits into little ghosts over and over. All you have to do is hold still when the big ghost turns around and he won't split into the little ghosts. The guy playing even stands still for a few seconds as the first fat ghost he meets turns around, and the fat ghost stays in one piece for that period, but the guy playing doesn't seem to make the connection.
I'm afraid without eyes clouded by sweet nostalgia, like Dan, this is not a great game. It had some neat ideas, but I found it very stiff and semi-boring when I bought it a couple years ago. Also, what boggles my mind even more is that they complemented the horrible music several times. If you want great Genesis music play FireShark, Truxton, Streets of Rage 2, Revenge of Shinobi, and Strider.
