I met Mr Collier outside a nightclub in Longton Stoke On Trent whilst waiting for a taxi , a true gentleman he was my favourite comedian of all time , he didn't have to use bad language or any of that nonsense just simple facial expressions [ like The Chicken Routine ] sleep well Mr Collier and thanks for being part of my growing up and making me laugh

Norman had another way of using the microphone gag, He had a piece of perspex that was shaped like a car door winding window, he used to wind it down to berate someone, whilst still berating he'd wind it back up.
I think we've lived through the best of comedians and comedy, modern day types do nothing for me.
    RIP Norman

I do vaguely remember Norman Collier being on TV although I don't know much about him. As a new subscriber, I really have to say I am enjoying your channel very much, you are reminding me of people I hadn't thought about in years, some I had no idea had gone, thank you. I am slowly, but surely making my way through your videos 😊

Always seemed a very stable, nice man whose personal life was not taken up with drama, stress and conflict!! I remember him well from my childhood and what a beautiful graveyard! Just such a lovely place to be laid to rest. Rest in peace, Norman. You seemed to have made a lot of people very happy.

The sad part about growing old is that you know more people that have passed away than those that are still around now and if it wasn't for today's social media many would have passed without notice.

Another great video. It's a bit strange watching this one, because I met Norman after I travelled to Rotherham to see him live. I actually got to have a pint with him afterwards. He was a lovely and friendly fella. I was gutted when he died, because he was so brilliantly funny, but it was also my birthday.

@@MotorHomeBeepBeep I think he lived in Lytham St. Anne’s cos there is a photo of him on the seafront by a seating area, together with a photo of Les Dawson. He was on Sunday radio mostly and we would listen to him eating our Sunday dinner, as well as Round The Horne, The Clitheroe Kid and Meet the Huggets. Now that is showing my age.

Thank you for visiting and paying respects to these people, going places where we cant all go and allowing us to visit through your videos. Your videos are so interesting but I do wish (if possible) you could leave them some flowers on our behalf. Some of these graves have nothing and look so sad. Is there a way to "buy some flowers" in the same way other vloggers can " buy me a coffee"??
    Keep up the good work!💗

Hello Andrea, please believe me I totally understand what you're saying I feel the same but I'm not a big fan of cut flowers because I think they're dying the moment you cut them. I've been thinking of having a real plant or paying for a representative plant that's will last but I can leave it to everyone. It's a great suggestion and I want to do it in one way or another. But thank you, I appreciate it for sure. Good night Alan
