Technology convergences have triggered the creation and eventual obsolescence of every social/economic/political system in history. Ai is already affecting our system today. Labor is now adverse to productivity and efficiency in our economy.
Martin Ford wrote a very compelling book on AI and automation (The Lights in the Tunnel). He makes the point that it's only a matter of time before machines can perform virtually any human task. The ONLY way this doesn't happen is if progress toward making ever more sophisticated machines comes to a complete halt. Otherwise, ANY amount of progress, nor matter how incremental, when sustained over a long enough period of time, will lead to this outcome. The list of cognitive and physical tasks that only humans can perform will continue to shrink. That which CAN be automated WILL be automated. A good example of how a sophisticated process, by itself, can substitute for human cognition is an Amazon fulfillment center. It used to take an actual human being to go grab things in a warehouse and carry them from one point to another. Now, this can be accomplished via a combination of bar codes, lasers, sensors and robots that follow pre-programmed paths. Nowhere in this process is some especially great AI, or anything that even approaches it. All you had to do was break a complex task down into smaller, more manageable tasks that can be performed by machines.
Collecting private matters and moments is a huge post sign of a simple action causing many affects....most ..negative to the android user .. and we pay for this poor behaviour by buying devices with their sw ..its leads downward for users and insanely anywhere for the collectors .. ahh technology..love it or hate it ..its what it is atm and the small minded geniuses enacting it ..will thrive in the same exhilarating manner a angry tidy moustached man did til he met his end in a bunker ..we hope...maybe if these kings of tech would tour the bunker they might save their soul with a change of heart
AI is software. It is deterministic and does whatever it is programed to. Emergent behavior with software is something I was doing in high school. There is no trick if you understand it. What is being sold is a scam. It used to be called big data, like what is the third most common item purchaced with mustard. Given an input data set, it wil always give 100% the exact same result.
