I’ll likely be in the minority here but I was hoping that the S2 was basically gonna be the Titan S OG but with a boost in the air region to give some more sparkle up top and an ever-so-slight reduce in the upper-mids so that it isn’t shouty at all but is still very vocal-focused. But a tasteful V-Shape tuning isn’t bad.

Been waiting for reviews of the S2 as I still regularly use my Titan S and wondered if I should update even if not an upgrade. Then you compared it to the EM6L, which I already have so I guess I don't need the S2... Until they release a black version.
Love my titan S,l don't think it boring at all.lnfact,l think it present music a lot closer to accurate than most.Was thinking of getting a spare then l saw titan S2, but the review on the S2 is making me worry,might not be what l want...😂Thanks anyways,nice review as always.Cheers.

That's a hard question knowing how good the pa02 is already. Pilgrim has a brighter presentation where pula02 is more of a side grade with its laid back approach. Do you want similar sound or something complimentary?

EM6L is better for competitive gaming for sure. You should look at the Aful Performer 5

I've got the fat freq maestro minis paired with a fiio btr7 and as a bass junkie I'm very happy. They're expensive, but totally worth it.
Just got my s2 yesterday.. its different from the og. Love the signatures of both. But I actually like the s2 better. Lots of detail and air.
I think (hope) ive found a replacement for my, unfortunately broken, truthear Hexa.
