@@TheLaundryCentre Now the Haier Era has just begun. Instable Candy's technologies will be replaced .Hoovers will become a "7 series"and "SuperDrum" rebranded.
These were such innovative machines, shame reliability issues mean so few have survived today, especially compared to the earlier logics/Ecologics. Seems strange that they only scored C for wash performance when my Miele from the same era scored A despite the wash times being about the same, I imagine having a hot fill dragged these down a lot performance wise though
These, the softwaves, classicas and possibly the early Quattro's are pretty much what Hoover would perform like nowadays but with today's technology and bigger portholes and possibly with induction motors if they hadn't gone bust through the free flights promotion. The dryers possibly will be the same in terms of the technology they used on the top of the range reversing and crease guard models with sensor dry. to dry with the old halo of heat and possibly the filter being moved to somewhere around the front of the machine as opposed to being at the of the drum. What do you think?
I missed the start as I was in work till late but love seeing this machine working :)
Hoovers PRE-Candy era was so "hi-tech" and goregeous!
Agreed, candy ruined them
