@@u.a5351 Billy Dib was beaten by Tevin Farmer at 130 a year or less ago. why couldn't they find a welterweight *_somewhere?_* Khan was ranked #2 by one of the sanctioning bodies b4 he even laced up as a welterweight. since then he's only beaten ONE (Collazo). this fight was supposed 2 keep him relevant on the welterweight scene. let me know when we hear that Indian welterweight's name again.
TboneLee Khan had 4 fights at welterweight which were julio diaz luis collazo Devon Alexander and Chris Algeri. And billy dib was already on the undercard therefore could fight on that date. We don’t know if any other welterweights that aren’t top level we’re even available
@@u.a5351 I stand corrected...although each of those guys, with the exception of Collazo was more of a player at 140 than at welter. and U are right that we don't know if any top level welterweights were available at the time. but *_somebody_* at 147 was likely available. I still can't excuse Khan fighting a guy who lost at 130 less than a year ago.
