I love hearing them all talk about their inspirations. Seeing today's heroines honor their predecessors always gives me such joy. Can't wait to see whose "Mt. Rushmore" they'll all be on in 20 years!

Yes. Exactly. That group cracked the door open and snuck in. This generation kicked down the wall. All Cammi did was score the first goal for the US Women’s Olympic Ice Hockey Team. First American Women’s Olympic goal ever. All the world watching. They took the gold. 205 career US National team games played with 343 points.
But did Shannon Miller’s name come up? Miller did more to grow women’s hockey in Canada and around the world than anyone prior. She laid the groundwork. I’m from the country south of Canada but I hold Shannon Miller in high regard. Being a father that raised a hockey playing daughter, I made sure she knew what Shannon Miller did for hockey. Those faces on the Women’s Mount Rushmore, American or Canadian, are standing on Shannon Millers shoulders.
