Trip World was directed by Yuichi Ueda who was friends with Tomomi Sakai, creator of Mr Gimmick (You can see him in the credits too) so you can see his influence over the game which is pretty cool. It also got a GBC rerelease recently, so it's available internationally now
I saw that it was released on the Switch Online, i first played it there and was surprised at how much I liked it. Also great odd fact, that’s really cool.
OH SNAP! Hey there! You probably don't remember me (I'm not much of a twich watcher) but one night I randomly got on twich and searched "Gun.Smoke" and found you streaming it. I was the only one there, and we chatted for like an hour and a half. You died on a level like 4 times in a row, and the next time you tried I said I think you got it. You didn't agree, but on your last life you felled the boss and moved on. I was in my car and brought up youtube to listen to something on the way home, and right up at the top was your video and I said "hey I know that guy!" I can't wait to go through your years of videos and give them a look. You got a soothing voice man. I made a few videos myself, it's hard work! Glad to see you on here, and I'll be following man. I'm like... 1000% more of a youtube watcher then I am a stream watcher. I like being able to consume my media at times of my choosing. Still it was really fun chatting with you that night. I hope all is going really well man. " In regards to this video, I'm really happy to see Kid Dracula make the list! I loved this game as a kid, and actually still have my original copy! Now, for a suggestion for the next gameboy hidden gems video, I suggest Bubble Ghost! Just in time for this October spooky season! I loved that game as a kid and still do. All you do is blow a bubble through a mystery house. That's it. It's so simple, yet so fun. For the last 3 years I've enjoyed taking selfies w/ the games I beat. After watching you play Gun.Smoke I had to pull my copy off the wall, and smash through it for that picture. Great game!
I remember you! Holy crap what a coincidence! Yeah I create TH-cam content on top of twitch streaming cause a lot of people have said they love my reading voice and I love talking about retro topics. Thank you for watching, I really appreciate it! Bubble Ghost is a great game, it barely got left off the list but it won’t next time!
Sharp video as always. Happy that Solomon's Club made the cut. The NES original was quite the long haul, with more difficult stages and no save feature (?!), but as you pointed out, Club is just the right size for pick up and play gaming.
Not only the games are underrated, but you also. I find these top lists (This video and your underrated SNES games video) as quite entertaining. Sadly I don't actually have a game boy (surprisingly) but I hope Trip World DX will get released on modern platforms!
I've been playing through old gameboy games via retroarch on my series x, I loved my gameboy back in the day and there so many amazing games that still hold up today.
When I first beat the James Bond game as a kid I couldn't believe they had a movie screenshot at the end of the game. The graphics blew my mind at the time. :)
Bruh what? WHO in the hell playing a gameboy rn? Better yet WHO the hell got one that WORKS? alr u got one AND it works... bruh there are WAY better games to be played than time spent of these old ass RELICS. IF i WAS to play any gameboy game, im going to the gb ADVANCE. Better games, better gameplay, its in COLOR, need i say more? Yw

This video may or may not have been delayed one day because I spent too much time off and on at Solomon’s Club haha. Thank you.
Damn, that TMNT was basically The Last Ronin. That's wild.
That’s a good analogy, although a lot less sad.

Thank you so much for the kind words, I really appreciate it!
I'm glad to see your channel grow! I really enjoy your content. Good stuff as always. Try looney tunes if you haven't already, one of my fav gb games.
Thank you so much, really appreciate it! And I’ll give it a look!
Was that a Jason hockey mask in that Mario game?
It sure was 😉 the enemies in that game can be really weird.
I've been playing through old gameboy games via retroarch on my series x, I loved my gameboy back in the day and there so many amazing games that still hold up today.
There are a lot of games that def hold up, especially the games that started franchises.
Gargoyles Quest is my favorite GB game.
Great soundtrack too.
I had 3 games for the GB: Tetris, Links Awakening and Super Mario Land 2.
SML2 is a masterpiece and needed to be longer.
Oh definitely! It’s a amazing game, especially for a mobile console.
When I first beat the James Bond game as a kid I couldn't believe they had a movie screenshot at the end of the game. The graphics blew my mind at the time. :)
good list, i found some new ones.
Maybe put the name of the game on screen during its segment? Cheers
Not a bad idea, thank you!
One of my favorite underrated GB games is Lazlo's Leap. Simple and addictive - ideal for the Game Boy.
Kwirk is a fun puzzle game everyone should try for the original Gameboy.
Radical Rescue is a top notch game and the best metroidvania game for Game Boy.
Hammerin Harry is cool, the SNES version rocks aswell.
love for the OG GB in 2023. ya love to see it
Thank you for watching, really appreciate it!
I cannot thank you enough for this list, good sir.
Apparently the NA version of Hammerin' Harry was canceled. At least according to GameFAQs.
You just got a new subscriber!
Thank you for subbing, really appreciate it!
Love this so much!
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it!
Donkey Kong 94 better be on this list
Nice Video ! Sub & Big Like ! And love retro gameboy games !
Good video , next how to play gameboy in 2023

Graphics and gameplay should be balanced, and gameboy games usually fit that gap
