I'm the guy that posted this video 1.5 years ago. I just logged back in for the first time and discovered 170 comments.... I had no idea.
I did NOT want to sell it. We moved to Europe, and I was forced to... along with the Ducati in the garage.
To all the folks that left nice comments.... thank you. I listed it on ebay with no reserve, and it did sell, not for very much... about $1400 if I recall. I knew it wasn't a particularly valuable car, so.... it is what it is. Hopefully the new owner cares for it.
I really love all the hater comments from the faceless keyboard warriors too.... those are fun.... lol. Life just isn't complete unless you can get online and bash a stranger..... as long as you can still hide in mommy's basement, and not have to actually confront someone face to face, right? Lol. Typical.
    I'll see if I can answer a few of the "hater" comments in one shot;
    1. I wasn't price gouging. I listed it at no reserve. I would have taken $200 for it if that's all it sold for.
    2. Yes, it was my grandmothers car. The story was 100% true.
    3. It was not perfect, nor did I ever claim it was. I think I did a pretty good job disclosing everything it needed. It was however, the cleanest one I'd seen in years.
    4. To the troll that called me a "disgusting leach that is so sentimental about his grandma's money". (That was my favorite - LOL). If $1400 is considered "a lot of money" for a car.... perhaps you should get off the internet and get a job?

I do wish that the new Cadillac’s of today 2019, were designed like this beautiful Cadillac.

I agree my grandmother still has her 1992 that my grandfather bought for her in 1993. When I first got my driver's license back in '98 she let me drive it. Boy I loved Cadillacs even more after that. Back in 2014 when I was living in Florida I took a road trip to surprise her in Philadelphia. Avis gave me a new 2014 Cadillac XTS. Although it was a sharp car the ride comfort was nothing like my grandmother's '92. Shoot even when I was a kid in the 80s. My grandparents '85 & 86 Devilles felt smoother. I still love the design of the newer caddies of today but build quality and comfort aren't the same

Nice Cadillac, always did like the 89-93 Deville. Good reliable engines, nice V8 torque, big but still easy to park, lots of room, drove/handled nicer than the old RWD boats, looks like a proper Cadillac. This is what should have came out for 1985 when they downsized the Deville. Typical GM it took them a few years to get it right.

I paid $2800 for a pristine one of these with gold package and carriage top, with 91k. Still drove like new to 161k, and only added $90 air lift bags in rear springs. Gimpy light switch, blower- defrost system and radiator, plus shattered left front fender by deer made me park it behind horse barn. Kept it because I wanted it for parts as I always wanted another. Insurance totaled it out at $2000. Fantastic comfortable, easy driving car. My next cars of '97, '98 devilles, then a '04 suburban not as nice. Had a bullet proof engine, before the northstar mess.

My best friend's Mom had a light blue '90 Sedan DeVille growing up with the 4.5 liter alloy block/iron head V8 and it was THE quietest and most comfortable car I have ever been in. They simply do not build cars that ride like this anymore.
The DeVille of this genre was famous for the 43 inches of rear seat leg room which was the most of ANY car sold in America throughout the 90s! It was literally like a limo in the back. The more rare Coupe DeVille 2-door was on a shorter wheelbase and had "only" 40" of rear legroom. 35"-36" is considered very roomy so 40"+ was ridiculous!

This is the best years 91-93 for these full size fwd devilles... proportions are perfect, the fwd fleetwood looked off with the skirts, made it a bit less athletic looking... i had a champagne colored 91, no special edition, but fully loaded with tan leather and digital dash... very smooth powerful car with the most desirable 4.9L non Northstar, very study set up... feels as powerful as a supercharged 3.8 of same era GM but much smoother. I purchased mine with 129k and was hit in front, only damage was headlight grill and bumper which i bent out and replaced. I had perfect paint and exact options to yours (gray cladding and no vinyl top) i did have the digital dash and tan leather which was very pretty, same carpet at dash pad... mine was smoked in but, jept very clean you would never know except the headliner fell half way back and the rear seat was perfect except for two baseball mitt sizes melted spots... i was told a rogue cigarette was tosed out and sucked back in just like trains plaind and automobiles! Andcaught on fire. Lol...
My only complaints with the car which felt like a vault was the A/C -heating set up... i live the in Ohio/Mich area and the heater only has vents for defroster and below... i like heat blowing on me directly and this car was designed for the A/C to do so, not heat...
I will say the yellow on yellow is very desirable as is the hardtop version as they are cleaner looking... i put deville chrome 16 wheels on mine (the silver platter looking ones) which really made the car... i was quite fond of her, but my wife wasn't with the tiny rear window she hated the visibility so i let her go, my pink Cadillac... thanks for the fond memories of one of my bucket list babies - my 91 Cruella DeVil

Why buy a high end car and cry about stuff that break down. Yes I own a 2001 Deville with the Northstar and I replace the rear air shocks ($65 from ebay). I have not had any other problems with the air ride. I have videos of me replacing the shocks on my channel.

I did... shortly after this video was posted. I only made the video for the ebay auction, which ran for 7 days.
Car sold for 1200-1300 if I recall. Wasn't much, but I expected that. I wish I didn't have to sell it, but we moved overseas

Question of the day is how much are you asking ? I know how much I think it's worth nut reality is that as outstanding this car is that you need a particular buyer for a decent price. I found my cousin a 92 exactly in the same condition , just perfect and got it for $1400 . But I believe it's worth at least $4k but I don't think you will get that

The issue can also be linked to your fusebox. I had the same issue in a camaro with digital dash flicker

That knocking is most likely the sway bar bushings that are attached to the frame. It is an easy job for you to do before i pick up the car
