I love the Birkin 30 but$5000.00 is my limit on a bag .So I had a leather bag maker in Vietnam custom hand stitched a black Birkin he spent over 40 hours on my bag. It is beautiful and a fraction of the cost . I get the prestige of a real Birkin but I don’t have that kind of money to maybe get a bag. But you do you girl. I hope you get the bag . I went straight to Fashionphile and bought preloved (but new/unused) but paid double retail I figured you never know how much I would have to spend at the boutique and still not guaranteed even being offered a bag or in the size or color or leather I would want so I figured this was the best bet pay double get exactly what I want. For now I think to get one through my friend who is their vip client in KSA and… maybe try my luck while travelling. There is bigger chance they offer bag in seasonal shops like in Capri. I also hear that some people were offered bag without previous spend in Prague, Czechia. I don’t have any specific place like home yet so no chance for me to make relation with one SA/shop and anw I feel their game is too hard! 😛

I’m in Bay Area too and I decided I won’t be playing this “journey “ game. I bought a few things from the stores ( a scarf, sneakers, boots). I bought a rodeo and Herbag from online. Will go to the store to pick up some twillies and maybe a few things since I have a store credit. And that’s it. I rather fly to Paris a few times, enjoy this travel journey, build a relationship with SA there, then keep spending and spending here and not getting Kelly bag.

It isn’t that easy in Paris anymore. I have an SA there and even she wasn’t able to help me get an appointment. And its nearly impossible to get appointments through their online system despite trying all the tricks (making purchases, having a strong profile etc).
@@anabella05 Agreed. Most of the SA's in Paris won't give out their contact info nowadays nor try to build a relationship with oversea clients. I got really lucky 7 years ago (before all the madness) and really hit it off with a SA during my leather appointment, he offered me a K25 and gave me his business card since I wanted some fine jewelry pieces too that they had none stock, so he told me to message him on whatsapp so he can update me on the stocks. Whenever my friends visit Paris now try to build a relationship with a SA, the SA's just tell them that they can't give out their contact info because so many visitors coming through the boutiques everyday they just can't accommodate everyone, then just tell my friends to come by again in the next visit.

This is why I got a preloved Birkin before even starting the game. That way there is no pressure because I essentially already have what I want and I am less likely to impulse buy any offer I get.
I spent quite a bit to get my Birkin 30. I’m in Cali too. FJ, lots of shoes, scarfs, costume jewelry, belts, watch, non quota bags. My offer came very quickly in 3 months and I got exactly what I wanted. But now, I will take everything with a different approach. I would like a Kelly but I don’t mind how long it will take, I have absolutely zero intention of spending as much for my next bag. I don’t need or want many quota bags, 2 is plenty to me!

Listening to this saddens me I really don’t want to face the reality of my pre-spend before getting my b25, I must note I didn’t spend much to get my first bag b30, or Constance I8, I did spend for my kelly25 all in neutral colors. I am trying to pull back from this this thing we Call a journey and just enjoy the things I have and stop the chase for the next quota bag. I bought some things I must admit wasn’t because i truly love it only because it was expected of me. Doesn’t feel nice the SA MAY not ANSWER YOUR TEXT OR CALL expeditiously or whenever they choose to a few days after, to be quite honest it’s quite demeaning. While It feels good to walk around with them and get compliments the actual journey didn’t feel so good. I feel quite pathetic my SA IS NICE AND ALL bUT I put up with behavior THAT I WOULD NOT ORDINARILY STAND FOR WITH OTHER BUSINESSES. That’s my story.

I have spent about the same as you and still waiting for my B25, in a neutral color as well.. ..sigh... am in Singapore. I am not sure is it becos about $10k of this amount was incurred with my previous SA who left.. But my SA did acknowledged that my wishlist is approved, maybe I need to wait a minimum number of months since I gotten my last bag in May 22..

I really don't like Hermes backdoor policies that you must spend "X" to get B or K. The issue is X could be $0 to thousands of dollars. I'd rather they say as a company policy that you must spend $20K (example) to be eligible for B/K waitlist for 1 custom bag. It seems like its based on what that store or SA wants to tell you b/c they want you to spend, spend & spend. Influencers and content creators like the one mentioned below, are in a different boat. Just like celebrities and such they get offered or gifted bags from vendor, rich men, friends, family. whatever. You have purchased various categories from clothing, shoes, accessories- for both yourself and hubby-which looks great on you. You have fully adopted the brand, but now you have to spend more.

Never offered a bag. I would like Kelly. Spent at SF, Palo Alto and LVegas stores. Spent most online. Between scarves, twilly, perfume, makep, belt, costume jewellery and shoes. Spent enough! I asked SF SA about GP and Bolide. Non in stock..I really want the Kelly. I don't have established relationship as my first SA left and second was unresponsive.

It took about 5 trips before I was offer. I’m going to work with this SA I have here for a k25 either black, gold or craie. Which ever is available first.
This is why I’m not going to play the Hermes game. I would love a Kelly 25 but I’m not going to buy things I don’t need or want just to be offered to spend 10k on a bag. I got my neutral color (Chai) B25 this year around May. I think I only spent very few things (Herbag, husband’s wallet, small notepad, perfume, 1 twilly) which in Japan it was less than 600K JPY (with tax). It is around 4K usd with current Fx rate 😅 but this is a boutique in Japan. I am a VIP at the dpt store where Hermes is located. But I don’t think that plays any role? I am actually not actively asking for quota bags since I got one too recent, but most likely I will be asking for one around similar time (told myself only 1 bag a year and one watch a year…and many smaller other things 😅). Since my B25, I have spent over 500k and also another 400k that I have reserved. My SA has been asking about quota bags but I haven’t actively asked because I want it to be a special day when I receive it. I live 18 min away from the dpt store…so I practically live there and just say hi. I do think it seems a bit easier to get a quota bag in Japan 🤔

Hi Sasa! Its extremely difficult in SF. I am already over 25k (pre tax) without any SLG or leather goods and I am still waiting for an offer. I told my SA that I am open to B or K in a neutral color with ANY hardware, because it will increase my chance of getting an offer sooner.

Thiniking about what you tell us in this video and thinking about the ongoing lawsuit against Hemes is very interesting, there are not many here on TH-cam who are so open about the whole crazy Hermes game.
The Bay Area boutiques are very competitive! My SA is in another state and I’ve been offered way more quota bags at the location I shop with compared to if I would have shopped at the SF/PA location. I’ve recently went to the SF store and was talking to a SA and she asked why I didn’t shop there since it would be considered my local shop. I told her all the qb I have and she agreed I would not have been offered those in SF due to them being very competitive.
I have recently started watching your videos. So informative. I lived in SF for over 15 years and have never stepped foot in the store until recently to hunt for another twilly for my B25 I got while traveling. Curious who your SA was. Think the SA who helped me wants to build a relationship. But my gut and the lawsuit was telling me to do some research on SF. She was quite shocked I have no profile in America. Would you recommend I start a profile. I travel so much I just never bothered to start a journey in what should be one of my home stores.

Hi Sasa. Thanks for your content. SF is my store too and I’ve just started my journey this year. I’ve done some online and in store purchases. Mainly testing out the brand purchasing costume jewelry, make up, belts. Trying to determine if this is what I really want to go for as I would love a K. I’ve enjoyed online but so many reviews say to stick with an SA in store, so I started going there. Unfortunately, the few times I’ve shopped at SF, the same SA I’ve had has either rushed me or even as much as missed my appointment (because she was still helping another client) which lead me to shop by myself. When she finally helped me, she really wasn’t “helping” me, just asked what I wanted to purchase. Nor has she invested in me after contacting her and seeing her already a few times. And, I’ve never been asked “what else is in your list?”. I get better service at Nordstrom’s honestly. I’d still like to try and give it a shot but have been debating if I should switch SAs. If you love yours, I would like a recommendation. Mine is Linda.

Where I live it’s a 1:1 spend and a quota bag every 6 months, its crazy how some cities require 2,3 or even 5:1 spend 🤯 I got offered a B25 within 1 month of meeting the spend but rejected the color. Then didn’t visit the boutique for a few months and my SA reminded me that he owed me a bag and was offered a black B25 with gold hw.

My local home store is Madison, so far my pre-spend is a hair over $6k, will be spending a bit more on holiday gifts. I do have a really good relationship with my SA right now but what I got on the wish list really hard to come by, B25 in noir/rghw and mini k in pastels, so I'm not expecting much if anything at this point. Hi Sasa. I spent roughly about $30k since Jan ‘22, of which approx $13k purchases related to 2 non quota bags. When I saw my SA a few weeks ago she told me and my husband that she is working on getting the K25 in a neutral color that I wanted. She also mentioned that it will arrive before year end. Maybe the bulk of the $17k was purchased towards jewelries and shoes, and that’s why I’m now a candidate to get a K25? Yea I’ve been told that in Singapore as well. I personally feel it’s better to purchase from resellers since even at a premium, you’re spending less in total than what you need to spend in Hermes now. And you get to pick the exact combination that you want.

I love the Birkin 30 but$5000.00 is my limit on a bag .So I had a leather bag maker in Vietnam custom hand stitched a black Birkin he spent over 40 hours on my bag. It is beautiful and a fraction of the cost . I get the prestige of a real Birkin but I don’t have that kind of money to maybe get a bag. But you do you girl. I hope you get the bag . I went straight to Fashionphile and bought preloved (but new/unused) but paid double retail I figured you never know how much I would have to spend at the boutique and still not guaranteed even being offered a bag or in the size or color or leather I would want so I figured this was the best bet pay double get exactly what I want. For now I think to get one through my friend who is their vip client in KSA and… maybe try my luck while travelling. There is bigger chance they offer bag in seasonal shops like in Capri. I also hear that some people were offered bag without previous spend in Prague, Czechia. I don’t have any specific place like home yet so no chance for me to make relation with one SA/shop and anw I feel their game is too hard! 😛

I’m in Bay Area too and I decided I won’t be playing this “journey “ game. I bought a few things from the stores ( a scarf, sneakers, boots). I bought a rodeo and Herbag from online. Will go to the store to pick up some twillies and maybe a few things since I have a store credit. And that’s it. I rather fly to Paris a few times, enjoy this travel journey, build a relationship with SA there, then keep spending and spending here and not getting Kelly bag.

It isn’t that easy in Paris anymore. I have an SA there and even she wasn’t able to help me get an appointment. And its nearly impossible to get appointments through their online system despite trying all the tricks (making purchases, having a strong profile etc).
@@anabella05 Agreed. Most of the SA's in Paris won't give out their contact info nowadays nor try to build a relationship with oversea clients. I got really lucky 7 years ago (before all the madness) and really hit it off with a SA during my leather appointment, he offered me a K25 and gave me his business card since I wanted some fine jewelry pieces too that they had none stock, so he told me to message him on whatsapp so he can update me on the stocks. Whenever my friends visit Paris now try to build a relationship with a SA, the SA's just tell them that they can't give out their contact info because so many visitors coming through the boutiques everyday they just can't accommodate everyone, then just tell my friends to come by again in the next visit.

This is why I got a preloved Birkin before even starting the game. That way there is no pressure because I essentially already have what I want and I am less likely to impulse buy any offer I get.
I spent quite a bit to get my Birkin 30. I’m in Cali too. FJ, lots of shoes, scarfs, costume jewelry, belts, watch, non quota bags. My offer came very quickly in 3 months and I got exactly what I wanted. But now, I will take everything with a different approach. I would like a Kelly but I don’t mind how long it will take, I have absolutely zero intention of spending as much for my next bag. I don’t need or want many quota bags, 2 is plenty to me!

Listening to this saddens me I really don’t want to face the reality of my pre-spend before getting my b25, I must note I didn’t spend much to get my first bag b30, or Constance I8, I did spend for my kelly25 all in neutral colors. I am trying to pull back from this this thing we Call a journey and just enjoy the things I have and stop the chase for the next quota bag. I bought some things I must admit wasn’t because i truly love it only because it was expected of me. Doesn’t feel nice the SA MAY not ANSWER YOUR TEXT OR CALL expeditiously or whenever they choose to a few days after, to be quite honest it’s quite demeaning. While It feels good to walk around with them and get compliments the actual journey didn’t feel so good. I feel quite pathetic my SA IS NICE AND ALL bUT I put up with behavior THAT I WOULD NOT ORDINARILY STAND FOR WITH OTHER BUSINESSES. That’s my story.

I have spent about the same as you and still waiting for my B25, in a neutral color as well.. ..sigh... am in Singapore. I am not sure is it becos about $10k of this amount was incurred with my previous SA who left.. But my SA did acknowledged that my wishlist is approved, maybe I need to wait a minimum number of months since I gotten my last bag in May 22..

I really don't like Hermes backdoor policies that you must spend "X" to get B or K. The issue is X could be $0 to thousands of dollars. I'd rather they say as a company policy that you must spend $20K (example) to be eligible for B/K waitlist for 1 custom bag. It seems like its based on what that store or SA wants to tell you b/c they want you to spend, spend & spend. Influencers and content creators like the one mentioned below, are in a different boat. Just like celebrities and such they get offered or gifted bags from vendor, rich men, friends, family. whatever.
You have purchased various categories from clothing, shoes, accessories- for both yourself and hubby-which looks great on you. You have fully adopted the brand, but now you have to spend more.

Never offered a bag. I would like Kelly. Spent at SF, Palo Alto and LVegas stores. Spent most online. Between scarves, twilly, perfume, makep, belt, costume jewellery and shoes. Spent enough! I asked SF SA about GP and Bolide. Non in stock..I really want the Kelly. I don't have established relationship as my first SA left and second was unresponsive.

I got my neutral color (Chai) B25 this year around May. I think I only spent very few things (Herbag, husband’s wallet, small notepad, perfume, 1 twilly) which in Japan it was less than 600K JPY (with tax). It is around 4K usd with current Fx rate 😅 but this is a boutique in Japan. I am a VIP at the dpt store where Hermes is located. But I don’t think that plays any role? I am actually not actively asking for quota bags since I got one too recent, but most likely I will be asking for one around similar time (told myself only 1 bag a year and one watch a year…and many smaller other things 😅). Since my B25, I have spent over 500k and also another 400k that I have reserved. My SA has been asking about quota bags but I haven’t actively asked because I want it to be a special day when I receive it. I live 18 min away from the dpt store…so I practically live there and just say hi. I do think it seems a bit easier to get a quota bag in Japan 🤔

Hi Sasa! Its extremely difficult in SF. I am already over 25k (pre tax) without any SLG or leather goods and I am still waiting for an offer. I told my SA that I am open to B or K in a neutral color with ANY hardware, because it will increase my chance of getting an offer sooner.

Thiniking about what you tell us in this video and thinking about the ongoing lawsuit against Hemes is very interesting, there are not many here on TH-cam who are so open about the whole crazy Hermes game.
The Bay Area boutiques are very competitive! My SA is in another state and I’ve been offered way more quota bags at the location I shop with compared to if I would have shopped at the SF/PA location. I’ve recently went to the SF store and was talking to a SA and she asked why I didn’t shop there since it would be considered my local shop. I told her all the qb I have and she agreed I would not have been offered those in SF due to them being very competitive.

I have recently started watching your videos. So informative. I lived in SF for over 15 years and have never stepped foot in the store until recently to hunt for another twilly for my B25 I got while traveling. Curious who your SA was. Think the SA who helped me wants to build a relationship. But my gut and the lawsuit was telling me to do some research on SF. She was quite shocked I have no profile in America. Hi Sasa. Thanks for your content. SF is my store too and I’ve just started my journey this year. I’ve done some online and in store purchases. Mainly testing out the brand purchasing costume jewelry, make up, belts. Trying to determine if this is what I really want to go for as I would love a K. I’ve enjoyed online but so many reviews say to stick with an SA in store, so I started going there. Unfortunately, the few times I’ve shopped at SF, the same SA I’ve had has either rushed me or even as much as missed my appointment (because she was still helping another client) which lead me to shop by myself. When she finally helped me, she really wasn’t “helping” me, just asked what I wanted to purchase. Nor has she invested in me after contacting her and seeing her already a few times. And, I’ve never been asked “what else is in your list?”. I get better service at Nordstrom’s honestly. I’d still like to try and give it a shot but have been debating if I should switch SAs. If you love yours, I would like a recommendation. Mine is Linda.

My Tiffany SA shops in Colorado and has not spent that much.
Where I live it’s a 1:1 spend and a quota bag every 6 months, its crazy how some cities require 2,3 or even 5:1 spend 🤯 I got offered a B25 within 1 month of meeting the spend but rejected the color. Then didn’t visit the boutique for a few months and my SA reminded me that he owed me a bag and was offered a black B25 with gold hw.

Thanks for sharing your spending summary with us, many content creators refused to touch on this topic with such transparency so really appreciate your video. My local home store is Madison, so far my pre-spend is a hair over $6k, will be spending a bit more on holiday gifts. My SA confirmed with me that non quota bags and SLG's no longer count toward pre-spend, at least at the boutique I shop at, not sure if your SA is telling you the same thing. I do have a really good relationship with my SA right now but what I got on the wish list really hard to come by, B25 in noir/rghw and mini k in pastels, so I'm not expecting much if anything at this point. Will keep you posted if miracle happens lol 🤣

I honestly just threw in the mini k for fun and joked to my SA that maybe by 40 (I'm 32 now) I'll finally get offered one, and my SA was like let's hope you won't have to wait that long because I'll be retired by then 💀 Lately I'm been drooling over the new drag 22, but certainly don't love the $10k price tag, maybe if I get offered one in Paris I would definitely get it at 6850€ with vat refund. Hope you'll get offered the B25 or even a SO soon!

@@SasaZoe waiting patiently , SF boutique is truly competitive. I went there and met a nice SA and was told to stick with my SA here in southern CA . Its bec theres a lot more SA there with more clients to compete for quota bags . Goodluck to all of us! Stocks are still low , my boutique has had no shipment for several weeks ☹️

Hi Sasa. I spent roughly about $30k since Jan ‘22, of which approx $13k purchases related to 2 non quota bags. When I saw my SA a few weeks ago she told me and my husband that she is working on getting the K25 in a neutral color that I wanted. She also mentioned that it will arrive before year end. Maybe the bulk of the $17k was purchased towards jewelries and shoes, and that’s why I’m now a candidate to get a K25? Are you sure that non quota bags and leather goods don’t count towards pre spending? Thanks for sharing your info. Have a nice weekend.

Honestly, this waiting “game” is tedious, stressful at times, and exhausting. I was so hyped up to get a k25 and b25 back in Jan. I hope that when I finally get one, I’m still in love with it.

Thank you for sharing. In one of the Asian counties where I live, my SA told me their store policy is that I have to spend 50K to get offered the bag. So, yes, it is getting more difficult. Moving forward, I have just bought my first Hermes bag and it is herbag size 39 (I like big bags). Do you know if it is also getting difficult to get? Because I had to spend 1:1 to get my herbag. @@SasaZoe thank you for replying. I am in South East Asia and that’s what Hermès policy is here. 50k to spend to be offered any quota bag, they didn’t specifically say which size. I told them I want size 35 as I like Birkin 35. I think I may have to go to Paris to get my bag there.
Yea I’ve been told that in Singapore as well. I personally feel it’s better to purchase from resellers since even at a premium, you’re spending less in total than what you need to spend in Hermes now. And you get to pick the exact combination that you want.
