Ninja Gaiden - Portal to Hell???

Combined a few patches here and ended up with this psychedelic whacked out first level.
Things to take note of are the palette of Ryu, which looks like one of the shadow ninja's from Ninja Gaiden 2. Not sure how that happened but hey! Kinda cool... right?
Also the game is made infinitely easier with the addition of a double jump. Like... where was this upgrade back in 1989? Would have changed the entire landscape in platform gaming! So much more fun! More abilities = more control.
The boss fight started off normal enough, but very quickly mutated into binary HELL and I was unable to complete the level. Kinda scary actually.
I'll probably try this again with other patches in the future, but for now this is what you get. Thanks for watching!
