Thanks to share your video. It's really helpful for me to figure out how to be prepared for that trail. Good job!!!
Enjoyed the video! Elephant Hill is the best 4-wheel drive trail in the State of Utah.
Thank you!
Thank you for posting this video! I appreciated the fact that you pointed out the parts that would concern someone who is afraid of heights( that's me lol) we are in Moab and it's a trail my husband wants me to try I have been hesitant because I could not find a video where someone literally described it as you did but after watching your video I think I know what to expect now and may just close my 🥴 eyes through that small first half of the beginning
and try to enjoy the rest of the trail. Thanks again!!
How about a Jeep TJ with a 4.5” Rubicon Express lift, 35” Mickey Thompson Baja’s. Will it make it?
We did it in a JKU on a 2" puck lift and 35" tires the first time we did the trail. Can't guarantee your Jeep will make it, or that the trail is still in the same condition, but I would feel confident that you can do it.
i didn't see anyone carrying extra gas. How did your group do on a tank and a 10-hour day?
We did well on gas, I think we returned to Moab just above a quarter tank.
Is a stock jlur on 33s able to do this trail? Heading out mid February an looking for trails
Yes it will be able to do it. You may scrape if you are not careful but it is doable on 33” tires, it will just take a little more care and may need to stack a few rocks if you think you may scrape your underside.
If this is your first time to Moab, I would recommend the White Rim trail, Elephant Hill and Hells Revenge trail as must do trails.
Can you not get in with a national park pass?
The park pass will get you pass the gate, but you will still need a permit to drive the actual trail.
