Schumer Blasts Trump For Getting Played By China During Asia Trip.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. called President Donald Trump's Asia trip a "colossal flop."
Schumer's remarks came Tuesday on the Senate floor and were reported by the Washington Examiner.
"I have never been so ashamed of a foreign trip in my years. It's just inside-out," Schumer said.
He specifically cited Trump's decision not to call out the Chinese for unfair trade practices and the president's tweet about North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Schumer continued;
"He settled for a sophomoric exchange of insults on Twitter, far below the dignity of the office," Schumer said.
"Every American should be embarrassed,"
And Schumer noted: "Adding insult to injury, he seems to have a love for dictators."
Schumer appeared to be referring to Trump not criticizing Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte for human right violations.
