No matter where you get your shoes from, it's worth it to just pay the small fee that some of these authentication services ask for so you can get your piece of mind. I have gotten many pairs from goat and ebay (not stock x and I never will because I'm not stupid) and have checked all of them with authentication services, not a single pair was a replica/ua.
@@TalkingThrones I did research to see what service I can trust, if you don't then that's fine. If you buy from stock x you're better off saving money and just buying reps.
Aye I really appreciate you for making this video bro. I definitely think it’s crazy this happened but hopefully it brings light to Goat and the situation of possible fakes for new/existing customers that make sneaker purchases through the company
I actually stopped buying from GOAT about a year ago due to the fact I received 3 pairs of replica shoes from them in a span of about six months. Terrible authentication program

I didn’t grow up a sneaker head, I got my first pair of J’s last year at 38yrs old (never been the spend hundreds on a pair of shoes type). I’ve been adding since shoes to my closet since. I appreciate all of your content so much!
If you buy off goat and have an issue or think you received fakes and have proof you can request a refund only problem is you will get a credit not a refund
How about you get the shoe and compare! Like how can you compare with a picture? I want to see shoe to shoe also I just bought a pair of shoes of goat and it gave me an option either get a pair unauthentic or get a pair authenticate which option did he choose?
The only thing that I'm concerned about buying kicks from goat is when it's coming from Hong Kong. I purchased unc 5 from goat. Compared it to kith raffle win pair. The size sticker is different, one with US size sticker, while goat pair has a totally different sticker. Also, the larger sticker on the bottom, which is in Chinese. I traded that pair to tradeblock for union dunks, it passed authentication, so I'm cool on it. But I'm still concerned.
You do know that jordans are made in china right lol just because it comes from there dont mean its fake every shoe even when comes to size and factories is going to be different
@@taejuanebenn2160 right that’s what I be trying too tell people that they are made over there and they be thinking they are fakes idk and plus they got Nike stores also over there

Just placed an order on GOAT recently. First time I’ve seen the exact address of where they are being delivered from. 68 Wang Lung St. Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong…. Pretty neat because Google or whatever map app you use… and you can obviously see the whole location. Lol I took a tour of the area on the 3D map going down the streets 😂 The area where they are being shipped from looks legit. I just didn’t want to see a pic of no shady stuff. Lol I legit took a quick tour of Hong Kong and now I want to go!! 😂
@@glonup My pair actually arrive Friday but the shoes are made in Hong Kong so all I can do is have my pair legit checked on my own before I confirm my purchase. If something is off then you can return them for GOAT credit.
I think, the main point you made clear out there is: No matter what shoes or where it came from, you always need to check what you've paid for, which is surely true! For me, even Nike could have sold you fake shoes (fake returns where no legit checks were applied). So, make sure to double legit check every single shoe you buy and never trust the source and/or either their legit checks. It could also be, simply, a human mistake caused the guy who did the legit check to let it go and made you at the end the victim of buying the shoes unluckily.
Everybody trashing on StockX. But GOAT, ebay, it's all the same. Why would there be any difference between companies offering the same exact service, with the same process and employees.
I got a question, I got “Jordan max aura red and white” I bought them at Nike store in an outlet, for $120, but when I go to the Nike app they don’t appear 🧐 does anyone know if this is a legit shoe?
I don’t know about fake but GOAT has literally sent the wrong size shoes. They sent me a pair of size 8 Bo Jackson’s instead of the 10.5 I ordered. If they’re sending the wrong size shoes, then fake shoes most definitely are getting through also
Recently bought the black a ma 12s and they sent it to me without the sleeve and didn’t even say it failed the inspection or was missing accessories or anything. Plus the shoe was not clean at all. Just made me think they aren’t actually checking shoes
I got a pair of the cherry red 11’s from Goat and they were fake as hell! They gave me a refund and I got a pair of Airmax 95’s that were clearly real. I’ve bought plenty of shoes from them before, but that was the first time I was swindled. I eventually bought the cherry’s off Ebay and they were legit!
I’ve never had a issue with Goat last pair of sneakers I got from them was the Jordan black and white 85 highs. What I did find weird was that they came from like new Finland or something crazy like.
I've 100% got a pair of Fakes from Stockx, and I just know fakes can get through anywhere. And it happens. Unless you have a real shoe real box side by side they are tough to catch and it's only getting worse.
I recently ordered from GOAT a size 6.5 Nike for my daughter that normally wears size 5.5, and received size 6.5 shoe that is very tight on her feet. Of course, the box had no tissue paper. Kept emailing back and forth with the rep, sent them photos comparing and existing shoe she has saying return the shoes for partial refund as this is their policy, even though they admitted sometimes shoes are made smaller than the actual size, which is mind-boggling. Now I don’t care about the money and I would like to take it as far as verifying if these Nike shoes are authentic. I’m wondering how I can do that?
So what you're saying really is reps are just as good as authentics. If I don't hit retail and I love the shoe,l get the rep . I'm not paying reseller prices.
Goat definitely sells fake shoes my fiancé bought me a pair of cool grey 11’s off goat so I went on TH-cam to do a comparison on mines to some fakes and it turned out they were fake so goat gave her a refund I was hurt that they tried to get her but I ended up buying a pair for her trusted reseller end up paying $450 for them 🤦🏾♂️
I wonder why certain instances of questionable authenticity might occur, especially considering that buyers are specifically paying for verified, authentic items.
I paid 400.00 for some Jordan 4 military black 4s they looked suspect when i first got them I’m very light in my shoes and have the best shoe cleaner tell me why my black is flaking off got them
Happened to me with the space jams 11. I had a Nike pair and when I got the goat pair I told them that the bottom of the insole didn’t match. But the goat pair did match a sample of a fake pair that was online. I can send you the emails if you want to see. The stitching was off on the goat pair and they said that after reviewing everything that they guaranteed that the pair I got was 100 real. I sent them back. So at the end you can be the person that can triple check after getting the sneakers.
The fake Spacejams have different color bottoms. Never seen a fake pair with the correct level of Icy. Usually they're too Icy. Next to a legit pair known to come from.snkrs it's easy to tell in hand comparing the bottoms
My wife bought me the J4 AMM and the the tongue stitching was off so crooked so I sent them back to Goat and they processed a goat credit immediately upon receiving , used the goat credit again for J1 low phantoms and the same thing with the inconsistencies occurred. Returned those as well and now I’m just scared to buy but I got $672 sitting in Goat credit smh . Both pairs came from Hong Kong , just saying 🤔
@@kaineshorts1783 I knew they had a factory in HK , just weird that the only pairs that I returned and got flagged as fakes from local consignment stores were the pairs from HK . Just bad luck I guess
Anytime I order from an app my antennas are up....I'm guilty of sending sevral shoes back to goat if I didn't approve. Whether it's buying new but comes with toe crease, font or color on box is off and now that every new release seems to come from China, I've definitely have slowed down buying from them.....be careful out there.
I’m not gonna lie I grew up in real fakes world when sneakers use to look horrible. But the boxes, and font, and the tissue paper to me isn’t enough sometimes.
I have bought hoodies and shorts to resell them in korea and it is judged to be fake. All of them. And I wrote email it to Goat to get refund, they told me to wait for their decision. I will see what decision they make. Hopefully get full refund including delivery charge.
Have you guys considered pairs might be slightly different because they came from different factories? I’ve noticed made in Vietnam (VW1) pair labels and materials are sometimes slightly different from made in China ones (LN3, LN4, etc). I noticed the GOAT pair’s box says made in Vietnam. Yours and your friend’s are made in China. If you can find a VW1 pair bought from a retailer and compare you can probably definitively say if the GOAT pair is legit or not.
IMO GOAT is better when StockX. I have had multiple occasions when GOAT has emailed me and asked if I was okay with the amount of factory defect on a pair ( I ordered TS 4s notorious for tons of glue stinks) which I always declined the pair bc who wants to pay the high for defected B grade shoes. Good luck y’all
My pair came from Goat and the bottom of the box has Chinese writing, no size stickers & horizontal pattern…Could it be the shoes were shipped from a different region? The pair was shipped DHL but in all I still deem my pair to be authentic. Dealing with shoes for so long I know a fake shoe when I see one. The smell, the shape, the feel of it.
My question is how are vloggers able to get super early access on kicks that are releasing in 2-3-4 weeks/months in advanced? That's what I question when I see those early releases.
@@Hegotkickz yeah but how do we know if those are actually real? If Nike who manufactures most of these has early releases, how come they aren't rolling part of the stock on hand out on super early releases? Don't we think that would be smart especially if they want to generate more money? 🤔
Dude, I bought dusty olives from them. The suede on the right shoe and left shoes is completely different. The color of the Nike logo on the insole is a a completely different shade. Box is beat to hell. Real sad.
Cool vid fam. But make sure to say "allegedly" selling fakes. Keep out of that legal area of accusations. These places are not really checking rn. The economy is not the best and sales volume is lo. These sites need to make money off the processing fees. Shoes will get passed around until someone takes them. Unfortunately it is not about the shoe, it is about the money so always do your due diligence.
How does goat know after the customer receives them in hand. And complains that they aren’t real. How does goat know that those were the exact ones they sent out originally? Specially being they do not tag the shoes?
I’m almost positive my very first pair bought from GOAT are fake NB. Super pissed bc I thought the point of the long shipping time and fees were authentication. Instead I compared to a diff size retail pair and they’re definitely inconsistent. It’s bs that they give 3 days to report concerns when they are the professional authentication
I got a pair of Ambush AF1’s from GOAT where, one shoe has tumbled leather and the other one doesn’t. It likely came from Nike like that, but GOAT never notified me of the defect. It something like that gets through, what else is getting through.
If it’s a huge defect maybe they may notify you but I think their main purpose is to Authenticate if the shoe is a New/Used and Authentic pair. Nike always has QC issues but that doesn’t make the shoe fake. At least in the eyes of GOAT.
@@frankyb0y I get that, but being that GOAT charges a fee as a middle man, you have to notify the buyer of any defects found. Otherwise, they deserve the ire of the buyer.
Flight Club sold me a really bad pair of fake Jordan 5 "What The" Kicks. I was literally wiping the color off of them with just a dry towel. On top of the colors being dull compared to the real pairs. Took the hit, and gave them away.

Original origin being over seas automatically gives me pause.

What authentication service? just wondering so I can check my playoff 12s
Those authenticators are human just like StockX's. They probably pass or fail shoes incorrectly all the time.
Dang, I’ve never experienced a fake pair that I know of so far… I worried know, I’m waiting on my pair of SB 4s from GOAT know… Thank you 🙏🏾 for all you do!!! I see all the videos, but I always don’t have time to comment because I’m usually at work delivering the mail. Glad to see you’re following your dreams. Don’t forget we need new merch.
I’m waiting on my SB’s as well but I just found out that the seller canceled the deal. It said seller packaging for 5 days straight I contacted goat and they said that. Sick right now

For sure same here I never have either personally
Pretty much you are risking from buying from this secondary app.. if you haven't gotten fakes.. you are lucky
Goat is legit other people have tested sending fakes to both and I’ve never seen goat fail
Just because sneakers come from over there don’t mean it’s a fake you can get a fake anywhere
I’m thinking they hiring people who don’t know how too check a shoe and don’t know nothing about sneaker idk I never had an issue with Goat

I mean I’d agree with you if this was my pair and if I was a liar lll
I dont use GOAT much but Ive bought 17k and sold 24k on stock and never received a fake. A couple times I bought a pair and StockX caught the seller shipping fakes
Just placed an order on GOAT recently. First time I’ve seen the exact address of where they are being delivered from. 68 Wang Lung St. Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong…. Pretty neat because Google or whatever map app you use… and you can obviously see the whole location. Lol I took a tour of the area on the 3D map going down the streets 😂
The area where they are being shipped from looks legit. I just didn’t want to see a pic of no shady stuff. Lol I legit took a quick tour of Hong Kong and now I want to go!! 😂
Type in the address and check it out. 68 Wang Lung St is just a GOAT location. Has nothing to do with where the shoe came from of course!! 💯
@@frankyb0y how does your pair look? & how long did shipping take? I just got my tracking # and it’s coming from Hong Kong also lol

I got a question, I got “Jordan max aura red and white”
I bought them at Nike store in an outlet, for $120, but when I go to the Nike app they don’t appear 🧐 does anyone know if this is a legit shoe?
Yes
I don’t know about fake but GOAT has literally sent the wrong size shoes. They sent me a pair of size 8 Bo Jackson’s instead of the 10.5 I ordered. If they’re sending the wrong size shoes, then fake shoes most definitely are getting through also
That’s very true
It sucks that this happen to your friend. Another reason why I never use third party apps. I prefer to buy in person.
They are super hard to catch now
I recently ordered from GOAT a size 6.5 Nike for my daughter that normally wears size 5.5, and received size 6.5 shoe that is very tight on her feet.
Crazy! Never ordered from Goat for fear of fakes plus not wanting to pay those fees 😂
Fee’s definitely crazy lol
Stockx be having more fees sometimes I look on both sites to see which sneaker is cheaper then buy
With those fees there should be no chance of a fake. That's what you are paying for.
@@highspeedslowfeed For real
@@highspeedslowfeedright
So what you're saying really is reps are just as good as authentics. If I don't hit retail and I love the shoe,l get the rep . I'm not paying reseller prices.
With how easy it is to get this shoe, and how low the resale value is, I doubt anyone would be selling fakes on Goat or StockX
Definitely prolly the mentality of who was checking it lol
Goat definitely sells fake shoes my fiancé bought me a pair of cool grey 11’s off goat so I went on TH-cam to do a comparison on mines to some fakes and it turned out they were fake so goat gave her a refund I was hurt that they tried to get her but I ended up buying a pair for her trusted reseller end up paying $450 for them 🤦🏾♂️
I wonder why certain instances of questionable authenticity might occur, especially considering that buyers are specifically paying for verified, authentic items.
Bc as long as it’s humans checking things can happen
Next to a legit pair known to come from.snkrs it's easy to tell in hand comparing the bottoms
boutta get jordan 4s photon dust, should i get from stock x or goat?

I bought a used pair of black cement 3's from GOAT. I noticed on the tag where it says LN3 or 4, mine says LNM. What do you think about that?
I’d have to check mine
LNM is legit
To me, I have no faith in eBay/Stock X/GOAT etc. Only from places like Nike/Sneakers/Footlocker I know I'm getting what I paid for
Are all shoes with VW1 reps. I ordered the reimagined 3s Ang think I got reps. First time ordering on goat too
Anytime I order from an app my antennas are up....I'm guilty of sending sevral shoes back to goat if I didn't approve. Whether it's buying new but comes with toe crease, font or color on box is off and now that every new release seems to come from China, I've definitely have slowed down buying from them.....be careful out there.
Yeah I’ve gotten stuff that has been worn and should be DS
I’m not gonna lie I grew up in real fakes world when sneakers use to look horrible. But the boxes, and font, and the tissue paper to me isn’t enough sometimes.
I have bought hoodies and shorts to resell them in korea and it is judged to be fake. All of them. And I wrote email it to Goat to get refund, they told me to wait for their decision.
I will see what decision they make. Hopefully get full refund including delivery charge.
I feel like if you're gonna sale Fakes they shouldn't be costing the same price as the real that's what really makes you mad😢

What is happening Kicks? Did you see the passport pack UnionLA Dunk Lows Without the Ripstop Shroud?
My pair came from Goat and the bottom of the box has Chinese writing, no size stickers & horizontal pattern…Could it be the shoes were shipped from a different region? The pair was shipped DHL but in all I still deem my pair to be authentic. Dealing with shoes for so long I know a fake shoe when I see one. The smell, the shape, the feel of it.
Not fake
I have the same exact issue from the same shoe I’m guess it’s the region the shoe is from
This is nuts man..If you don’t get the W at the time of release move on OR gamble your money. Just don’t cry when it doesn’t work in your favor.
My question is how are vloggers able to get super early access on kicks that are releasing in 2-3-4 weeks/months in advanced? That's what I question when I see those early releases.
I mean that’s really easy to do lol you just gotta find reputable sources and be willing to pay the price
No one has ever answered this fully, they all say you gotta know someone that know someone….I always side eyed this.
@@Hegotkickz I think the question is more so how do the sources get them that early?
@@Hegotkickz yeah but how do we know if those are actually real? If Nike who manufactures most of these has early releases, how come they aren't rolling part of the stock on hand out on super early releases? Don't we think that would be smart especially if they want to generate more money? 🤔
A lot of folks gotta be willing to risk their jobs Nike contracts and or their freedom lol
Also I'm still trying to figure out how stock X and goat are selling the SBxJ4s in a size 14. None of the raffles I entered or snkrs sold a size 14.

Cool vid fam. But make sure to say "allegedly" selling fakes. Keep out of that legal area of accusations. I sold a pair from SNKRS and GOAT said they were fakes. They sent them back to and I returned them to Nike and had no problems. Lol
