If only I'd been around I could have helped you demonstrate the beautiful Yamaha Guitalele, I wonder what else I could possibly have been occupied with? It must have been very important otherwise I would have been there.
Yes, great little instrument, I really like my Yamaha GL1! 😀 I changed the head nut on mine: 41mm between the two "E" strings instead of 39. I also made a new bottom nut. Both nuts in bone. Well adjusted, it's really better! After a few years I had to change the mechanics. I installed Gotoh ones, which cost the price of the guitalele... I now have the best Yamaha guitalele in the world! 😅I like to tune it in G or G# with Aquila 96c strings. Savarez Alliance Cantiga or or Corum are great too, because normal tension Alliance are very thin (basses a little thicker than the Aquila set...), but these strings are more expansive...
Bought mine about 8 years ago new for £49. It's a fun little thing. Came tuned on A like capo on 5. No need to learn new chord shapes and gives a different flavour.
So would it be fair to say it’s a permanent capo 6? Guitar? Check my math because I feel horrible right now and I’m not thinking at 100% but that’s what it sounds to me.
I think that little dog is stressed that those guys are jumping in the water. He seems to be watching over them.
I have one of these and love it, sounds better than expected and fits in a overhead bin on a flight
Have one for years and love it.
