This looks so beautiful and relaxing! I've always wanted to go to key west but this looks prettier. The restaurant is named after Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart, they were in an old movie called Key Largo. Thanks for sharing with us!
My fiancé and I are looking into this for an elopement/honeymoon! Thank you for providing all of these great details. I was wondering how you made your reservations for dinner? Did you have to make them prior to arrival or would you make them each day?? & was anything extra of charge while you were there other than tips?
How exciting!! We made our dinner reservations day of! I think we had to tell them at the beginning which night we wanted our fancy restaurant meal because that was obviously a high class dining experience! But the rest of the meals we kinda gauged as the day happened and went! And they were super flexible with all the other dinner places since they were all right next to one another and not crowded (when we went) There’s an extra charge if you wanted to do the big like boat excursions which we didn’t do. Also there was an up charge on a few of the top shelf alcohols!!
Yea it’s definitely an investment trip but goodness is was sooo worth it! Especially since it was a delayed honeymoon trip for us and not just a typical vacation.
People but do your research first, I live down here in the keys and that is a little fancy resort with no beach, spa is not included at all, food, snacks drinks yes are included but for the amount of money you are paying, it’s a lot more options and beautiful like a private island in key west “sunset key cottages” and I’m sure that is less money than that. You also have Playa Largo, cheeca lodge, all fancy, very fancy and better than This little thing she went.
We did the garden suite but it’s all so close of a walk to everything there! And it’s not really a beach per say. It’s more of water butting up to their location. But there’s a few sand spots you can go walk out at!
When you checked in did they make you wait until 4:00? I know they have the option to check in at 12:00 for $300 but I’ve wondered if you get there like an hour or so early if they let you go ahead and check in.
Yes! So all the food and drinks and most of the activities were included. If we wanted to go on a boating excursion or wanted like top top shelf alcohol, that was an upcharge but pretty much everything was included. 3 meals a day, plus endless pool or bar side appetizers and drinks!
Not technically. There’s a few spots that have sand leading out to some water, but it’s mostly sitting up so you look out at the water and can walk on the piers
Not necessarily, it depends on the optional services you choose, length of time spent, time period you choose to book, and any other packages. We booked for a week this year and it came out to $9.6k.
So $10,000 without airfare, gratuity, transportation to & from the resort. $16,000 isn’t that far off. I understand the problem. Too many hands in the pot running American all inclusive resorts. Everything cost more here from the egg for breakfast to the bottle of water before bedtime. It’s a sad reality in the USA. I would really love to stay at an all inclusive here in my home country that I’m so proud of but I’ll still have bills to pay when I get home. And I have to be careful. Thanks and I’m glad you had a wonderful vacation!
Love how happy you are doing this. Good for y’all ❤
Tips. Did you use the itemized bill at each meal to measure how to tip, like 20 to 25% . Any suggestions here would be great… Thanks
Enjoyed your narration. 😅👍
Happy you were able to do this!! Looked awesome 😎
Thank you!!
OMG IT LOOKS SO AMAZING😍
Thanks!

This place looks beautiful! I just looked at maybe a 4 day get a way and it was nearly 8K! Yikes!!
Yea it’s definitely an investment trip but goodness is was sooo worth it! Especially since it was a delayed honeymoon trip for us and not just a typical vacation.

@@JHamilton-y4w thanks for your input! Really appreciate it! I had the absolute best time and I bet there are other great places down there too!
Awesome - however All-Inclusive Resort means one price covers everything not nickel and dime.
Looks very nice though.
Wow! Amazing! You actually said "baby shark" without breaking into song!"
Hi! Did you guys do garden or waterfront suite? Also is there a beach? Thank you so much.
We did the garden suite but it’s all so close of a walk to everything there! And it’s not really a beach per say. It’s more of water butting up to their location. But there’s a few sand spots you can go walk out at!
Hi Madison,
Thank you for posting
What month did you go?
We went in September!
Did u pay for the rental car the whole time u were there? We’re going and we don’t know how we’re gonna get from Mia to the resort
Did you look at Little Palm island also? I’m torn between the two .
I haven't heard of that one! I will have to look it up!
Beautifull, where do I go to book please?
Cost ?
Pool?
i think it might be 1,300$ a day when i searched for 4 days it was about 5300$ without a tax
When you checked in did they make you wait until 4:00? I know they have the option to check in at 12:00 for $300 but I’ve wondered if you get there like an hour or so early if they let you go ahead and check in.
We ended up getting there around 11:30 so we opted for the noon check in and paid the extra $300. I’m not sure what they would do In that scenario!
What month did you visit the resort, please?
we went in September and the weather was perfect! not too hot but not cold and rainy.
Thank you for sharing this video! Can't wait to go! Are the different cabanas you showed included or an extra charge?
they were included which was so nice!!!
What time of year did you visit?
We went in the summer!
What does all inclusive mean at this resort? Is it like international all inclusive where food and drinks are included in the price
Yes! So all the food and drinks and most of the activities were included. If we wanted to go on a boating excursion or wanted like top top shelf alcohol, that was an upcharge but pretty much everything was included. 3 meals a day, plus endless pool or bar side appetizers and drinks!
How do you sign up for the package. ?
Was it mostly
Couples or did you see any solo travelers ? Thinking of going solo. Just wondering.
I feel like it was mostly couples that I saw. There probably were some solo travelers but not a lot.
@@ThisFaithfulHome thank you
Was fishing an activity at the resort?
I don’t recall there being fishing ad an activity not seeing anyone fish
They do have a beach?
Not technically. There’s a few spots that have sand leading out to some water, but it’s mostly sitting up so you look out at the water and can walk on the piers
Where on FL did you land. Here in PA
We flew into Fort Lauderdale instead of Miami because it ended up being so much cheaper and worth the extra little bit of driving down to the keys
Tell your followers that it cost $16,643 per week! That’s insane! I’m out!
