What a beautiful voice! One-person shows are not easy, but she carries it with pure quality

Thank you so much for posting this entire set. I live in northern California and Thea has never graced our halls with her presence. Truly one of my favorite singer/songwriters. This is a treasure.

Caught her, at last, a few weeks ago in Norwich at the Arts Centre, a small intimate venue just perfect for such a 'confessionaly ' communicative artist. Like here, her rapport with her audience drew us to her and enhanced our appreciation both of her personality and of her wonderful lyrics. Surely she is one of the great lyricists of our age. Got to speak with her briefly after the gig. What an approachable and personable woman. I asked her where " Guncotton" , the first song I ever heard of hers, came from and she said..." you know what?...I was just browsing the dictionary one day and came across it, read the definition and thought...that perfectly describes the combustibility of so many relationships...and wrote the song!!! Made me smile with admiration. Only Fiona Apple and Joni Mitchell are that clever, though in very different ways, It was hard to see the affect that performing the Afterlight material has on her. I just hope that after this tour she will have 'got it all out'' and exorcised those demons, because you can see the affect that performing these songs has on her not only emotionally but how it affects her physically., her whole body language changes, diminishes and recoils. Heartbreaking. Hope her future is much happier.
Thank you Thea for so many wonderful, cynical but always brilliantly lyrical and eclectic albums. looking forward to the next ones.

Whilst I have nearly all Thea's albums, I have only seen her on the Sandy Denny tribute show over 10 years ago. In my 70's and can no longer stand for 2 hours and most of her shows are in venues that don't have seats. This is a delight. Rise is a wonderful song and her lyrics are so often extremely moving and powerful. A delight to watch.

Just brilliant! Pretty much the same set she did on tour last year in small, intimate venues. Go and see her. She has a bucketload of songs every bit as good as these.

Britain's Got Talent. Classy set from Thea - my only moan is I would have preferred more of her older material to covers - but she was brilliant anyway - a class act! ❤

It is so annoying when people in the audience can't stop talking or shouting when an artist is performing.

I noticed she's wearing the Kabbalah wrist band. I bet she hasn't got a clue as to its true meaning. If she did, she wouldn't be wearing it.
