Who told you this ? Any reason why he didnt want her in that role ? He had cast her for many big roles in many of his movies - even as his pair in one of his movies ...so why would he refuse her ? Maybe because it was small ?? Actually Sowcar hesitated to do that role in telugu when AVM Saravanan forced her to do and it worked there - that is a known fact !
Iwatched one interview of AVM Saravanan sir. In that he mentioned that . Yes manorma acted with visu In so many films. So he want to change and give this character to another person instead of Manorama . But due to Producers request he finally selected manorama and rest is the history
