Now that I think of it, Nascar 08 and Nascar 21 are very similar. The wrecks are crazy in both games!
The wrecks are good in thunder 04, and nascar 08 looks similar 🤔

a few hours of playing and the #99 truck just gave up in california, jeff gordon began weaving like crazy at daytona, and the game thought jeff burton was pitting even though he was out in the track

this game has the best damage model, smoke and dirt lingering effects ive ever seen in any video game next to cod 4, gives it that realistic effect

NASCAR 21 is already better than this game. Despite using the same AI engine, MSgames altered it so they make moves and acknowledge your presence. The car is also perfectly drivable in NASCAR 21... though settings vary track to track.
On the flip side all NASCAR 08 got right were visual things, some of which NASCAR 21 couldn't... like pit stops and spawning.

I can appreciate the ai finally having a brain but as for the driving of the new car I really can’t stand it. The car feels like it’s floating to me, I can never feel the tires sliding and it all feels weightless

Denny Hamlin did make a good point, when tf do you ever see Alex Bowman up front besides his wins? He has a terrible average finish that gets bumped uo by his occasional wins.
I’m gonna get shat on for this but he’s come and taken the wins away from the dominant cars all season, he himself hasn’t dominated a thing. Aside from the wins he’s been an also ran all year

I remember 08 and 09 not even having the manufacturer decals on the car it was like madden 64
08 had the manufactures on the Gen 4 car, they didn't bother with the Gen 5 cars and trucks. Then NASCAR 09 they didn't even try at all.
