This was the first episode that I ever saw of Top Geer. It totally blew me away. Especially when the Stig went into a dive with the parachute opened (7:22 mark). That was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. And that Raptor is a beautiful Beast!!

I like the realism... The other day I raced a halo jumper and lost in my 5.0..... It was a close race!! Good to see the trucks are competitive as well!

This advertise is a fake , it's not that I hate raptores because I own one , but I am a skydiver and I know that it takes me maximum 2 minutes of free falling to reach 2000 feet from 25k ... not 5 minutes :) correct me skydivers .

the sad thing is how staged this was.. If the skydiver actually went head down he could easily break 300mph (terminal velocity is based on surface area, its not "120mph" as claimed) and he could have spiraled for the finish line from the moment he'd opened his canopy... but of course its TV so they have to make it look like it was close (which the skydiver did an excellent job of by timing his turn so that he finished just ahead of the truck) but it was never really a contest at all.
+lubricatedjellybeans The current world record speed skydive is 346mph (from standard skydiving altitude) Felix Baumgartner's jump from space went over 730mph (ofc he didn't have much atmosphere for most of the dive) you can absolutely fall faster than 120mph, an average head down skydive is around 180mph, 120mph is an average speed falling belly to earth (increases surface area with the same weight=lower speed) Get off youtube and go repeat junior high school physics.
Tanner Foust is, among many things in racing, a European Rallycross Champion along with being a professional race driver and stuntman. I'd say on OFF-ROAD courses he probably has more experience than the Stig.

I'm from the US and even I agree with that. None of the guys on TG US have ever written an article for a car magazine, so all they can say is "yeah, this is a good car... it's fast, it turns well, etc." Whereas on TG UK they are actual journalists and they can actually give you insight and personal opinions about the suspension setup, chassis, the tires, etc.
Of course. Even TGUK stages races, interactions btwn hosts, challenges, and even reviews. The fact of the matter was that it was very entertaining. Even from a hater's standpoint, they have to agree.

I know many people hate Top Gear USA (hopefully not because of their nationality) but this was pretty freakin badass. You have to really hate TGUSA simply because you dislike americans to find this stupid. I mean it's a freak parachute guy vs a pick up truck!
Your point? UG takes most pride from turbocharging Lamborghinis, which is why I said that. I have my info from experience. The only good Honda engine I've ever had was on a lawn mower. The Raptor is an offroad vehicle, it isn't supposed to sit and look pretty. Ford's service is excellent, I don't have any problems when I need to use them. Single turbo can provide more boost at higher RPMs compared to a twin turbo, therefore you go faster.
I don't care if you don't like the USA version. (personally I don't care for it) but this is an amazing video and stunt preformed by this insane special forces HALO jumper and best and newest production purpose built off-road vehicle by ford.
like i said before to others. i'll take a 1967 f100 any day. because it is a tough truck with no pretense. in the movie "it's a mad mad mad world". a 1967 f100 jumped though a billboard. the man driving the f100 died, the truck lived on.

I do get what you mean though. Even TG Australia which I think is better than TG US isn't as good as the original. Nothing every will.

you dont need to, the diff stays locked. and as long as you're in 2h you're good. I have a raptor
the diff doesn't stay locked but it doesn't matter about speed as long as you are not in 4L

That was some good off-road power sliding. Also enjoyed the parachutist getting crazy at the end to create speed with his chute open!

You can't fall faster then 120mph, it's impossible with air resistance. You can however go up to speed of 225mph going forward not down.

You have cars with what's called semi-automatic... meaning you can still shift gear to adjust your driving and motoric behaviour to the situation.
