Beth, ….when I want to go for that speckled look, I actually thin my paint a bit, and put it in an old spray bottle. Hold the bottle about 8-12 inches from your project and give it short, choppy little sprays. Pretty much the same effect, but less mess. It works pretty well for me. I absolutely love your shelf with the bucket planters.
That’s awesome Sam! I will give that a try next time. I’m use to the toothbrush technique because when I would body paint, you have to keep the splatter in a specific area so I didn’t ever use anything to big. Didn’t think about that for crafting. Thanks for sharing!

I am in love with all these DIY’s! If putting anything outside that’s with stickers or images, go over with Polycrylic with a few coats. That way, the images won’t be faded from the sun and will protect it from all elements.❤️
Thanks for that tip! I have so many projects outside and this will help them last longer...now to fix the wind problem blowing everything over even with heavy rocks 🤷♀️🤦♀️

You could also use mod podge for the wall stickers, it dries clear and will help the stickers adhere better.

I love the 4 pots and pizza pan idea! I've been trying to come up with something exactly like this. I'll be placing some of the clear glass beads from Dollar Tree on to the pizza pan and keep water in it. Bees and Butterflies need a place to sit while they drink and the glass beads will give them a safe place without getting too wet. Thank you Bethany. Now for the rest of the video.

I can't exactly remember when I discoverd your channel, but you are by far one of my favorits. Your videos ar very professional, and your DIYs are true DIYs. I got tired very quickk;y of those calling something a DIY, when all they dis was spray paint it. I don't think anyone needs a tutorial on how to use a can of sprah paint. Additionally, some people spend 5 minutes just talking ablout nothing that has to do with the upcoming epidose. It's a waste of my time. Now, I just need to find the time to go back to all your previous videos that I missed, before I found you. I'm forever giving recommendations to friends and you're at the tip of the list. Keep up the great work, and thank you for not repeatiing things in your videos that you just promoted a week ago. You have a fan for life. Even though I have so much going on in my life. I save all your videos onto my Pinterest, and buy the items that you use in your DIYs, because some day I will get around to them. I never cared about trends or what's in style, I like what I like and my place always is unique and fabulous. Thanks for your help

I love the planter trellis idea! I bought the green (tan ones would of saved me time) long rectangular dollar tree planters. Made them look like wood (faux wood) with black top edge and bottom. I used a walnut gel, brown gel and black gel for dimension on top of a off white to achieve this. Dry brushing. I added feet, wooden 1“ blocks. Look great. I was thinking pansies from Dollar Tree. I want to add trellis idea on top :)

I had to say another Comment: All of these projects are really GREAT!! Love your ideas! Everything turned out so beautiful. I am going to try to make those planters with the baking soda and chalk paint for texture. I am also going to make the sweet trellis and wee flower pots hanging off of it! You are so much more creative than many of the other DIYers I've seen who just do the same thing over and over using DT signs and their Cricut machines. Boring and no creative process or thinking outside the box. But you are vastly Superior and are always coming up with original and unique ideas! You are very talented. Thank you very much for sharing your gifts with us.

I loved this 1st diy! I ended up finding the exact planters! Lol! Also I used one of those big plastic type silver trays that are bigger than the pizza pan, then put the pizza pan on top to make t sturdy, then my round mat! It turned out great!

I love all of them! Wow you always amaze me with your creations. I really love the one you put outside, one on each side of your front door. Just a little hint tho, where the two pots meet, if you wrap a little bit of rope around just that part and glue it down, I think it would add just another bit of that barn look and kind of top it off. But it looks amazing already… 🥰
