There's a lot good and a lot that needs to be fixed, but congrats on this version actually managing to convey Lord X's death in a way that isn't just him holding one pose for the majority of it. The constant glitching and shifting poses as he screamed just felt so visceral, by far my favorite part.
@@gilbertrangel1235 I mean, he shrieks in agony at the end, followed by an error sound. And given the triumphant turn of the song prior, I think it's fair to say that he's at _least_ been defeated, if not outright dead.
Considering that GF is dead, BF Wouldnt be protected by her demon powers. So BF here is practically defensless. Lord X now has a way to actually kill BF, But i suppose he still insists on rapping against BF even if he has the ability to kill him for once.

@@justabrokezombie6252 I dont think that BF would be in the hold of the Chaos Emeralds. He probably wouldnt even know where they are, Nor how to activate them and go "Super". And Lord X is still an EXE, Which means hes still a "God". So he could easily overpower BF even with his "Angel Powers"
Aside from the bugs that need fixed, this is incredible. The way the battle goes from Lord X knowing he's just going to kill Boyfriend, to boyfriend nearly giving up on everything and submitting to finally destroying the bastard who did everything and finally gotten him to show an ounce of fear through the entire thing (via the bottom sprites) and winning.
it has a long way to go with polishing, but aside of that I love the many changes of the sprites! I was always looking forward to someone doing it, and the end specifically is way more interesting with Lord X switching between every sprite he had in this song (and even boyfriend?)

you should set the background scrolling to 1 instead of the default 0.9, the pixel sprites should have no antialiasing and super bf is missing his right pose, otherwise great mod

This version of Fate for me was the most epic, it had the dialogue that leaves you entertained, the little conflict, and then they go READY TO SING, Aaaaaaaaand when Lord X ded was very epic

My suggestions would be to make the part where bf is depressed in the darkness into the picture hidden in Cycles's death quote of Lord X puppereering BF and make the pixel sprites for Lord X more vibrant. Aside from that and what others have said, the concept you have down right now is better than anyone else Ive seen do it. Keep up the good work.
Only thing, the Lord X pixel sprite is actually accurate to his appearance in his native game (Sonic.exe PC port), it would make no sence to change the color of it. Apart from that I agree

The background scrolling is weird, the sprites don’t need anti-aliasing, and the pulsing is a bit headache inducing, but this has a lot of potential.

The last part with lord x reaching out pose should be the hand sort of deflecting off the aura like he's constantly trying to beat you to death.

It's somewhat laggy and could be smoother, but it's definitely a good fanmade, specially X disappearing at the end, that was the best part.

There are things that could be fixed in my opinion, like Gf’s sprite and the background of when Lord X first transforms or something like that.
Nice job, would have been a 10/10 if it wasn't for the weird background that makes the sprites slide.
