Pretty much Swain's biggest weakness. He doesn't have the tankiness of Sion or the survivability of Vlad. You want to burst him at your strongest before he burns you over time or some of your team dies and you lack the damage to kill him.

I do miss old swain, Crowform during ult was awesome. Also the limping walk. Was definitely a more interesting overall. That being said new Swain is cool too.
I feel like the q feels nice, the w annoyance is gone, the takes time to adjust both from the enemy and as the caster, and the R feels really bad against some comps because the dmg and healing is awful. There should be a great reward/skill system for getting off demonflares instead of "stay alive for 8 seconds with reduced helaing".
yeahhh the fact they made his ult EVEN MORE BROKEN- i literally thought his recast always meant his ult will end early and he was still insanely broken even before i knew how it worked lol
@@eesamees they gutted his healing, and murdered the CD of his E, which he relies on immensely for keeping champions in his ult and healing passive healing off (its also more narrow too). No one asked for multiple R2's, its a gimmick you will very rarely get off multiple times unless fed.. infact id rather have the post-rework iteration of swain R were the dmg was actually meaningful

His R buff is good actually because it was never about keeping people in all that much it's better as a zoner meaning that this area is around me is mine. Fits his character to boot. His W could use a little minor touch up, if it doesn't get a lower cooldown it should get a little more vision revealing. Stronger slow means his ability has more of a debilitating effect if caught in ult tho. 7.4/10 rework. Still not the most cohesive kit but it's issues are clear incongruancies in whether he is a zoning hybrid tank or pure tank or a character who is either tank or dps.

I feel like tanky swain might play better after this rework though since you'll consistently get to detonate ult multiple times during fights. AP builds I feel like will be worse since your sustain in fights is nerfed. I need to play it and find out.
@ the discord for swain mains keeps saying how you rarely ever get to detonate more than once. It’s a hard nerf. Sustain, dmg, and cooldowns were nerfed all around
This champion is getting diluted more and more. Doesn't matter what the numbers are, he was way more fun and had more identity when you could pull people when they got hit by your teammates' CC. Was far more satisfying than just being able to do it off the E. For long range snipes Hwei is just better (the range isn't that long but it does more damage and the hit is faster). And the whole draining ulti keeps getting nerfed. Before the first rework it drained a lot of mana but it also healed a lot and it did quite a bit of damage. Every further iteration, the duration goes up but the impact of the ulti goes down, less healing, less damage. Now it's like Karthus aura with slight healing.
Swain demonflare is affected by ability haste that’s why it felt shorter than 8 seconds on your double kill on Ekko and malz idk if you noticed that already bc I’m not done with the vid

Man, whenever i play aram against a Swain, my teammates always go all in at him while he's ulting instead of backing off until he's ult runs out
