We travel a lot with our pups. I would suggest a car hammock. Even if you leave the part that hooks to front headrests down, the fabric is water proof. One of ours also got car sick for a while and these hammocks made clean up of all messes so easy. Wouldn’t travel without it now. Also keeping them very cool helps so much. Benadryl is another great help. Good luck!

Poor Luna! Idk if anyone else suggested it, but ginger helps soothe the tummy. Some ginger snap cookies always helped my dog.

As for Luna's car sickness, get some real ginger, it's with the fruit and veggies. Use a grated to get just a small amount off, put it on your finger. Let her kick it off. This will settle her tummy right down

Hi there I have a husky who gets car sick . The best thing that worked for her is a ginger snap every 4 hours & a bully stick to chew. It has worked everytime. Have a fantastic & safe trip. ❤❤❤❤

I always find the best way to get something out of a dogs mouth without having to use a lot of force is hold each side of their mouth and blow into their face/ nose. My dogs always HATED it so much they would let go.

Poor Luna, she needs a big comfortable bed to feel safe in, maybe she will feel better in that.
When all else fails, Dimenhydrinate (Dramamine) -- the same drug people take to ward off car sickness -- also works for pets. Medium to large dogs should be given 25 to 50 milligrams of Dramamine at least an hour before traveling in a car, cats and small dogs should get about 12.5 milligrams.

Love your video. (I miss my Chocolate Labradoodle, Max who I lost nearly 3 years ago 'suddenly to leukemia st the young age of 8 1/2 years.
On another not regarding dog travel (but international flight).
I just wish the air industry would design some of their planes that had a seperate area, with separate crates/cages (say 4) that would accommodate larger breeds in cabin, rather than in the luggage hold. They say it's not profitable for the airlines which is complete rubbish.
If you had certain planes (even 2) in each company fleet, and then look how many people are flying their dogs each week around the globe (i.e immigrating /relocation etc) then there would be no financial loss to these companies with advance bookings these spaces would be booked all year round! And in fact, it would be great publicity (from a pet owners point of view and animal welfare organizations around the world.
These airlines are already good at math and ££$$ per cubic feet, so no more excuses...who is gonna have the balls and concern for these animals that are flown in the hold, and get this plan in action!.

Love bug, a part of Florida I do NOT Miss. Love bugs guts would eat the paint off the front of my parents 72 Cadillac Coup DeVille. My brother and I would have to clean them off. We hated them....
