As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barkatuhu, what a tragedy! I hear so much about "History of Ahl al-Hadith" in the so-called "Indian subcontinent" but there is hardly anyone who talks of the Imam of Ahl al-Hadith of Hind, that is, Shaykh, Muhaddith Faakhir al-Illahabadi (Za'ir al-Illahabadi) and his students! The true progenitor of Ahl al-Hadith school of thought in India! Adnan Rashid should revise his knowledge and learn about Za'ir al-Illahabadi and his students like AbdAllah as-Siddiqi al-Illahabadi. Muhaddith Za'ir al-Illahabadi also had students from Hanafi-school, legends like Qadi Thanaullah Panipati. The renowned abridger of Sahih al-Bukhari, Shaykh Murtuda az-Zabidi was also a student of Muhaddith al-Illahabadi. Muhaddith Za'ir al-Illahabadi was also an acquaintance of Shah Waliullah ad-Dihlawi! Why do so many who claim to narrate the history of Ahl al-Hadith forget or don't know about Za'ir al-Illahabadi and his students?
Shaykh Zafar ul hassan mentioned about him in his lecture in taqwiyatul iman. What an amazing and beneficial lecture it was. He has given more detail about how ahle hadees movement started in India. Do listen that lecture
@@sadaaAzmi , when was this, a few days ago or a few months ago? Listen to Shaykh Zafar's old lectures from few years ago (or even few decades ago) you won't find him mention of Imam Za'ir - just like others! The funny fact is that Shaykh Zafar is from Pratapgarh the city next to Illahabad (if you are from Illahabad or Pratapgarh it is as if they are just neighboring "villages" that is how close they are bordering each other) but I never heard Shaykh Zafar speak of Imam Za'ir! Probably now people are trying to wake-up, nevertheless most Ahl al-Hadith laymen don't know about the Imam or his students even today - in fact many scholars and preachers themselves don't know about him. Similarly, no attempt has been seen to translate (English, Hindi, Arabic etc.) works of Imam Za'ir al-Illahabadi or teach them in masajid and madaris! The only one I saw was a Markaz (India) that started teaching the abridged Urdu translation (by Muhaddith Nawab Siddiq Hasan) of it available in one of their programs that too just a few (3-4) months back! By the way, it is hilarious that the work Taqwiyatul Iman is being taught but not Risalah an-Najaatiyyah Dar Aqa'id Hadithiyyah of Imam Za'ir when Shaykh Muhammad Ismai'l ad-Dihlawi was more of an Ashari than an Ahl al-Hadith - there is no doubt that the book Taqwiyatul Iman is beneficial but not even close to Risalah an-Najatiyyah! This again proves my point but anyways, I'm happy to learn that atleast now few people have started naming the 'ulama who actually led the re-igniting of Ahl al-Hadith manhaj in Hind.
@@BlackWhite-jr7mp 5 days ago. You need to listen to that lecture and it will clear your misconception that Shah Ismail Shahid was not an Ashari. I am from UP and I know about pratapgarh and Allahabad. Also not just Zahir Allahabadi, works of other Ahle hadith Urdu scholars of Hind need to be translated too.
@@sadaaAzmi , I am from Illahabaad! There is no misconception, it seems you have not read the works of Shaykh Muhammad Isma'il ad-Dihlawi else you wouldn't be saying such things - he was inclined towards Ashariyyah! Also, the Imam's pen name was not "Zahir" as you write, it is "Za'ir" which means "roar" (dahaad - like in Hindi it's said 'sher ki dahaad'). Anyways, these lectures sadly are not very academic and in detail so nothing much (new) can be learnt from these but inshaAllah will still try to watch it.
@@BlackWhite-jr7mp Unlike you I don't demean scholars and say there is nothing new to learn nor I am fan of a scholar just because he comes from the same region or place as mine. Even if we hear same things from a same scolar there is always something new to learn. Only an ignorant say he knows everything. Don't come to your own conclusions about Shah Ismail Shaheed go ask Ahle hadees scholars about him. Surely they know more about him than you. Assalamualaikum 👋
Does Ahlu hadith respect and accept the oppinion of other who profess opinion on one of the hadith whilst other Muslims accept that as Hadith but Not As applied Sunnah Ahlul Haduth does have give fatwa ??
Why you didn't said about the great Mujahid of Indian Freedom Struggle Syed Ahmad Shaheed Raybrelvi the founder of Tehreeke Shaheeden (Wahabi Movement). His movement was the biggest threat to the British and Sikh rule.
You have to read the History book by Ishaq Bhatti Ahle Hadees
Akhi, can you get a sheikh to present on the usool & fiqh of Imam Shawkani r.h. ?

Salafi or Ahlul Hadeeth ❤❤❤❤
Both are same

You're on the wrong video.
Why do ahlul hadeet followers don't respect Ahelalbait specifically Ali R A and respect Maviya ra .
Who said Ahlu Hadith don't respect Ali رضي الله عنه. It is part of our Aqeedah to love him.
Are you a victim of misunderstanding?
