Girl, where have you been all my life? Your giggly energy is soooo contagious! Exactly what a knitting noob like me needs to keep on going and not feeling discouraged. :D
dying that I just found your podcast and I can't BINGE your energy like I want bc I've run out of videos!! Keep going keep creating girl we need your joy and giggles over here
okay i crochet and i just recently found your channel because i'm trying to get into knitting. so happy you are reviewing this, couldn't find any thorough reviews online. thank you!!
oh hooray! honestly, you are the exact person that I was doing this review for. I really hated not knowing which beginner book was the right book for me when I started out. hope this was helpful!
To be honest I wasn’t going to watch this video, I didn’t care about the book review, but I ran out of your other videos and I love watching you haha I did enjoy the book review after all though.
if i didn't already get 3 knitting books for christmas i think i would have tried to go out of my way to get this one. i liked sooo many of the patterns when they started showing up on ravelry. i think i'll end up getting it later in the year maybe. also thank you so much for mentioning the sizes!!!! that is extremely helpful to know before buying a book with patterns, especially if you're buying it online. you wouldn't believe how non-descriptive some descriptions of pattern books can be. i'm plus size and have only been knitting for a year so it's really important to know if my size is available because idk if i could modify stuff to fit me very easily or if i would even want to try lol.
i totally get that! i can’t stand it when the public pattern doesn’t have enough information. and this book is totally worth the investment (later on after you’ve read the other 3 😉)
Thank you so much for this review! I was on the fence about buying this book, but now it’s definitely making its way into my library. So glad I found your channel over break! Loving your videos. Thank you!!!
Half the patterns I own is due to the photography! Kim Hargreaves books are in my library because I love the imagery as well as Veronika Lindberg and Irina Anikeeva.
My sweet husband bought this book for me for Christmas and I LOVE it SO much!! All the things you said and more! That part in EVERY pattern about yarn substitution is the BEST! I mean, what newbie doesn’t need advice about subbing yarns?!? 🎉 And I think they do say in there somewhere that they are going to be adding to their video tutorial library to support these patterns. So that will be another huge plus. I think this is my all time fav knitting book ever and I’ve been knitting for 20+ years! Thanks for being you and so cute! ❤
YAY! I love seeing videos from you! But um, I literally picked this book up yesterday at Amazing Threads up here in Minnesnowta, and I wish I had seen this video first! :D lol
You said they have socks and shawl patterns in this? Are they repeats from the other books? Kind of a bummer that they put those in when they have 2 other books with these.
Thanks for the review! I have been curious about this book. I looove an easy knit and that Isabelle Kramer cardigan also jumped out at me on Ravelry. I have 52 weeks of socks because I love knitting socks....and then discovered the thing I like about sock knitting is just plain, basic socks not the complicated cabled stuffs. Whoops.
😂😂 i have never identified with a sentiment about that book more! i was so excited to knit that whole book… and then realized me + vanilla socks are bffs
just a hint - Americans never seem to want to take the time to find out how to pronounce Names and Titles in other languages including British/Scottish/Irish names and words. There is Google and it is always a great help. It works better if you are giving respect to the designers if you are going to promote them.
here’s a hint: if you think being condescending towards an American was going to gain you any favor in this comment section… you’ve got the wrong one, friend. try again on a different video, on a different account, with someone much less likely to call you on your BS. because what i find always works better - not just with designers but mostly just in, i don’t know, LIFE - is humility rather than the snobbery you’ve exhibited above. have a blessed & blocked day! 😘
I have to tell you, just how much I am enjoying these videos. They bring me such joy, thank you, keep them coming girl!

I just discovered you and I had to subscribe. You are more fun than a box of puppies. 🐕🐕🐕
Great review. Thanks for the joy.
A silly comment, but I really enjoyed the way you pronounced the Finnish names and words, in your accent they sound much more fun than irl 😂
😂😂 at least i can make you laugh with the terrible job im doing!
I seen this book at a local yarn store a couple of days ago! Regret that I didn’t get it! Might have to go back and get it…
To be honest I wasn’t going to watch this video, I didn’t care about the book review, but I ran out of your other videos and I love watching you haha I did enjoy the book review after all though.
I love you! You remind me of my best friend 💛 your laugh is so infectious xx 😀
I AM crazy...and here for the chaos...and infectous energy! Thanks for the review. I have been curious about the 52 weeks book series.
I enjoyed your review. I had just received my Easy Knits book in the mail and am looking forward to knitting Juttu.

Ooh, I like that book. Thanks for the review!

"show me all your whites and beiges" made me LOL!
Thanks for such an enjoyable review video :)

I was about to get this book for christmas but wasn't sure I would really like it, also it is kinda pricey haha, but now... daaamn I really want it
hahaha master enabling reached!
Hey Girl! Thanks for the review! Can you do a video recommending BIPOC designers? Trying to support more people who look like me! Thanks :)
Do you prefer seamed garments over in the round? I noticed you said something about structure.
I adore your videos!. Does it teach you to read the patterns?. I want the book but can't read patterns yet.
Have you done a review of the 52 weeks of shawls? Do you like that one?
i haven’t but i’d be happy to do one for y’all if you’d like me to?
@Maressa Made oh yeah totally do one!
Dang, I was a bit too late - the book is sold out!!!
