Juneteenth Celebration at Broward College Central Campus

We celebrated Juneteenth early. Juneteenth (short for “June Nineteenth”) honors the day that the enslaved African Americans in Texas were made aware of their freedom. Juneteenth is the longest celebration of African American emancipation.
