When you go back and read what they actually convicted him of, he’s guilty. Whether he shot in the air or at the ground that’s negligent discharging of a firearm. For you to discharge the weapon, clearly you have to be in possession of it and assault is very vague. He should’ve took the plea.

@@juggnmb His DNA was on the clip of the gun and he had GSR. They used Kelsey's original statement from that night of the incident since she was so uncooperative on the stand and the witness statement who said he saw him shooting.

Dude shot an unarmed black woman
The alleged victim testified he shot at her a couple times but she didn't get hit with 1 bullet but says she just stood there. The independent witness testified that he saw 2 females in an altercation & one went back to the suv & the muzzle flashed near her. There was inconclusive DNA on the weapon for the defendant but conclusive female DNA. Neither female was tested for DNA but one tested positive for GSR. There's too much reasonable doubt to convict the defendant for assault. Another credible witness alluded that the females may have had a weapon in their bags or luggage prior to moving them to defendant's vehicle. Investigators lost or didn't retrieve fragments to be tested. The key witness perjured herself & the other received immunity. He didn't get a fair trial.
He did get a fair trial but his side didnt put up a strong defense.
Tory needed to take the stand against Kelsey to at least create reasonable doubt.
Tory had testimony against him, gunshot residue when he's not licensed to carry a weapon and he didnt take the stand.
Possible that he didnt shoot Megan but he definitely knows who did and wasnt willing to take the stand to counter all the others who did testify.

Yes, the victim said tory shot her. The witness in the limo said tory shot Meg. An eye witness from outside the limo said a man was the one shooting the gun from the limo. Tory had gunshot residue on his shirt and in his eye. That's a rap son.
Tory's bodyguard magically disappearing instead of testifying makes tory look even worse. The eye witness in the limo trying to change her story at the very last minute and acting retarded on the stand makes tory look even worse. Especially after they played the video of that same witness clearly describing in detail the events that happened, without stuttering and mumbling about the 5th amendment like its a tv show. Tory did it but was between a rock and a hard place. I think he was drunk and reckless with a gun. Fragments are what hit Meg which I think means that he did not intend to actually shoot her but taking a plea would have meant admitting to what he did. That would have effectively ended his career because no one was gonna touch him after that. He took it to trial and though he lost, he can at the least claim that it was a miscarriage of justice. All that said, the jury got it right.

It’s not really that confusing. He shot at her and she got hit with parts of the bullet. You can debate as to whether he tried to actually shoot her but that was the end result and firing a gun towards anyone is just messed up. Regardless of his intention, he was moving recklessly and it caught up to him.
