I was hoping for this because it’s a game a want. I’ve played the hour long demo on the store ages ago and really liked it but haven’t got the full game yet
Avatar, FF7 Rebirth and Space Marine 2 are the ones I'm most interested in. Also 120fps games. When it comes to Backwards Compatibility: The Last Guardian, Assassins Creed Unity
Ita not stable and has a lot of frame drop issues and wuite soft lew res image. I saw df analysis and told myself to wait for Pro if they patch it. Unpatched i still dont think is worth it
It would make sense that RE 2,3, and 7 will get a Pro update at some point. Considering they are releasing the PS5 Versions on disc next year. It would be a no brainer to drive sales based off of that.
I saw BG3 is getting a Pro patch. Also wonder how 120fps games like GoW Ragnarok with VRR will run. Same with games that have CPU bottlenecks and if that 10% clock speed boost will mean anything.
Dragon's Dogma, Lords of the Fallen, FF16, Demon's Souls, Star Wars Outlaws, Black Myth Wukong, Cyberpunk 2077, No Man's Sky, Spider-man 2, Horizon Forbidden West, Returnal, Resident Evil 8&4, Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, Hitman, God of War Valhalla, Fallout 76, GTAV, Rise of the Ronin, Elden Ring, Stellar Blade, Lies of P, Bloodborne, PSVR2 games... dang.
The finals, dying light 2, warframe, devil may cry 5 120 fps mode, the division 2 (is the image cleaner?), destiny 2 120fps pvp. These are some that id like to see in addition to what was mentioned.
I'm curious about cyberpunk 2077 i know its locked at 30 with raytracing mode but I'm curious if raytracing has a change. stable 60 on performance and if the visuals get better with PSSR
As of now Cyberpunk 2077 hasn't had nor has there been an announcement for a ps5 pro enhancement, I hope it does to upgrade from fsr to pssr but as of now there will be no noticeable change for the game on pro besides a more stable framerate
Black ops 6!! The cod engine scales pretty well to low end and high end machines so it would be interesting to see what the ps5 pro can gain from the bump in power! Thanks for all you guys do
Some unlocked games with RT and a 120Hz mode like DMC5: Special Edition would be interesting to see in terms of what performance uplifts we might expect.
i've never understood why some have so much trouble removing the product from the box without destroying/tearing the box. You could get better 2nd hand prices for a good condition box.
@HCIbn Did I say something like that? I mentioned it because it is the model I own indeed. I bought it like 5 months ago and I'm happy with it, nothing else.
@@Radek494 Isn't it TakeTwo Interactive calling the shots? Publishers suck lol, while devs do what they can with insane amounts of work and crunching, it seems.
Have seen some footage on TH-cam yesterday. Hard to judge from that video but the image quality does look a bit more sharp and better overall. The difference seems minimal though without a patch from Rockstar but still, I’ll take any improvement I can get with that title, love that game
Eager to test Lies of P. Performance was great in the base PS5, so I'm curious about what's new in the pro mode. Stellar Blade and Dragon Age the Veilguard will be also among my first choices.
I'm most excited for third-party multiplatform games tested between the XSX and PS5 Pro. Especially titles that were problematic for the base PS5, or CPU bound such as Space Marines 2. A friend of mine joked those comparisons may cause the price of the XSX to raise if it has parity or near parity with a 700 dollar console while being 500 dollars.
Curious if pssr can handle this grass area in SW Outlaws cause even on rtx 4090 this area is full or artefacts and shimmering even with dlss QUALITY...😅
@Whreck11 Yes I get it. But I like this game and rest of the graphics looks great except this open grass area 😀 If it looks "as goood" on Pro as on PC with dllss then not buying 😃
Only interested in Stellar Blade as I bought PS5 only for it. Graphics wise the game kinda left me wanting more as normally I play on a 4090 PC. Would get the Pro if the improvement is significant.
Hey I'd be more than happy to help y'all tackle that list iv filled my SSD with 40 of the ps pro games and will he installing more when I get the system. As well as PS4 titles and non pro titles to see the difference in performance. i also use a tv with vrr. And have a monitor with out to show the difference there.
@@chrisgault87 yeah graphics were pretty excellent for it personally hated the game though lol i grew up with the old medal of honours and cods so was let down by how much this game holds your hand
I would like to echo calls for Elden Ring. I will keep playing that until "Elden Ring 2" so would love to see what you guys make of the impact (if any) game boost has on it.
STUPID QUESTION: I always wondered why they couldn't just make a SINGLE CORE CPU next to a multi-core CPU so that they could optimize the single core for maximum performance. Games when CPU bottlenecked are usually bottlenecked by the speed of a single core. And on CONSOLE can't you tell the game to run its main thread on a particular core? Then why not have a single core CPU, maybe no SMT, optimized to run at, say, 20% faster than the other cores? Maybe even a separate chiplet next to the SoC? I'm sure the answer is obvious. Probably boils down to cost and/or the software can't quite work like that reliably.
I’d be particularly surprised interested to see how Elden Ring runs especially in regards to the ray tracing functionality which is already built into the game. I’d also be curious to see how it runs bloodborne.
All ps4 games that has the ps5 logo should get the enhanced and ps4 games should use the boost mode. Elden ring, black myth wukong needs enhanced update.
Guys, This one is important to me: i ALWAYS notice a "Framerate stutter"when the "Autosave" kicks in on the PS5. This was also the case on the PS4/PS4Pro. Is this FIXED? Can you please test it? I know i will do. Thx m8tes.
If you guys could experiment on Alien: Isolation and see if the game is boosted to 60 fps. I’d greatly appreciate it!! I just saw a journal online saying it will be, but I’m skeptical.
Man, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Cyberpunk Pro update, I think RT reflections should be possible, RT lighting likely not.
that would be great, also witcher 3 would be awesome
I was hoping for this because it’s a game a want. I’ve played the hour long demo on the store ages ago and really liked it but haven’t got the full game yet
30 fps

Speaking of cope 😂😂😂
I hope John tests PSVR2 as well
🎉🎉🎉 yes pretty please
I want to see how Space Marine 2 benefits from the game boost!
Would love to see Wukong. Been holding off on that hoping its issues get fixed by PS5 pro.
Bought it, held off playing it when the PS5 Pro got announced to play it on that console instead 😄
It doesn't have pro patch announced yet. Probably just smoother FPS on both modes
What issues? Played it through at launch with zero problems in performance mode.
Ita not stable and has a lot of frame drop issues and wuite soft lew res image. I saw df analysis and told myself to wait for Pro if they patch it. Unpatched i still dont think is worth it
@Syldarin it looks like absolute mud on ps5
It would make sense that RE 2,3, and 7 will get a Pro update at some point. Considering they are releasing the PS5 Versions on disc next year. It would be a no brainer to drive sales based off of that.
I dont think so. Those games have inconsistent fps on the ray tracing 60 and the 120fps. Ultra game boost will do the job
Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection. Would love to know if the 4K mode can run at higher frame rates now while unlocked.
Million dollar question
I’ve been hoping on this since they’ve given the last of us some love
Course it will it frames are unlocked
That depends on if a patch for the game is released, the system alone wont just improve on that automatically I don't think.
@adamsultana8380 if it's unlocked to begin with it will def improve it but can't unlock frames
I saw BG3 is getting a Pro patch. Also wonder how 120fps games like GoW Ragnarok with VRR will run. Same with games that have CPU bottlenecks and if that 10% clock speed boost will mean anything.
I doubt it. The extra cpu speed is minimal.
Tom don’t get no love. DF need to bring in Tom on the fighting games for PS5 pro! Let’s go mane!
I hope ff16 will get justice
for now it will run at more locked fps due to 45% GPU boost, but there's no improvements to resolution.
I double checked, and FF16 runs with FSR 1. If PSSR is better than FSR 3.1 like they showed, that game would get a very noticeable upgrade.
I just need those stutters outside of combat to be fixed. Then I will actually go back to play it.
@sizablekoala6879 I think we still don't know if none pro enhanced games do support pssr. If they do that, that would be really amazing
