I have been a dedicated Dollar Tree shopper for years. The fun aspect for me is that I can try new and different food products for a low cost. Also, being a 1 person household the smaller sizes are perfect and are great for traveling/camping .
That’s an amazing deal on the boost drinks! They help me on the days when I have to take my medication that affects my appetite, or if I lose my appetite because of an RA flare up. Next time I stop by dollar tree I’ll definitely pick some up.
I just wanted to comment on the Dollar General also has some great deals on the toothbrushes and the parchment paper and a lot of other things in their dollar section rather than the 1.25 from Dollar Tree. During these times, that extra adds up fast if you are on a budget.
That sounds great, except I don't have a Dollar General 😢 in my area. So I have to make do with the stores I do have. Dollar Tree and Grocery Outlet are the two budget friendly ones.
Hi, when I make boxed macaroni or shells and cheese, I add extra pasta. When I make baked beans and hot dogs, I add a can of plain drained beans. There's always plenty of sauce. I've been stretching prepared food like this for forty years. If you are feeding young children or teenaged boys be sure they get milk and plenty of food, not junk food and snacks. We drink tea or water, not pop. Tina, Al's wife
Your voice is so soothing. I am also an avid Dollar Tree fan. Thank you so much for your suggestions. I’m on a budget so all suggestions are so appreciated! Merry Christmas sweet lady! ❤
You need to check the ounces when comparing. I noticed many times although the Dollar Tree stoore is cheaper, the products in other stores are more ounces or quantity.
Dollar Tree is my “me time” guilty pleasure. I like to just roam around & see what’s new. I check regularly for mark downs in the freezer section & have been very successful. I like their Thai sweet chili sauce, the Hunts spaghetti sauce (only place you can get pasta sauce for $1.25 anymore), the Cinnamon Toast Crunch spread, & so much more! You can use the pretzel rods & dip them in melted chocolate chips for a sweet/salty treat. Super cute too!
same...it's the one place I feel like I can go even when I'm trying to save money. Although....I can easily "accidentally" go overboard there too 😂 those dollar twenty five's add up fast 😂 I brought that Thai sweet chili sauce home with me to try. I'm very excited about it actually 😁 Love your ideas. Happy Holidays to you and yours. 🥳 I hope you're having a great holiday! 🥰
I just bought Wildfare Shatta hot pepper sauce from DT today. It’s HOT but delicious. I always get my green olives there but never noticed the banana peppers. Thank you for another great video!
I didn't mention it but one of the ones I went to was kind of disorganized with little narrow aisles, but the second one is one of my favorites and is so clean and neat with big wide aisles. It feels so peaceful in there (if that's possible at DT 😂)
Thank you so much for the recipe channel! It will make life easier for me too. Also, as someone with dietary restrictions, you have made a HUGE impact on my food budget! Good, healthy foods for less. I never thought it would be possible. But we’ve been 20% under for the last four months! ❤❤❤
Yay! 🥳 Congrats on the great savings! I'm so glad my channel has been helpful. Thanks for letting me know 🥰 I'm slowly adding a few of the recipes a week. It will take some time to get all of my recipes added but I think it will be so useful. Happy Holidays! 😁
I use coconut oil to make my homemade deodorant that works better than any store brand. I’ve used it for years and introduced it to friends and family who like me can’t use antiperspirant and the store brand deodorants are next to worthless. The other ingredients are baking soda, arrowroot powder. Equal parts of all three ingredients. To that I use a small amount of bentonite clay powder. And a few drops of essential oils: lemon, orange, grapefruit and bergamot. It kills odors for two days so it works for when I’m camping too. Coconut oil is wonderful.
One item that I specifically buy from the dollar tree is the precut tin foil sheets. They're 30 to a box, and when I'm making baked potatoes for either a church or family gathering I am making anywhere from 10 to 40 plus baked potatoes. Trying to tear or cut up that many pieces of tin foil is a nightmare, the precut sheets are Perfect.
AM I hope you are enjoying a peaceful, joyous Christmas season!🎄 Doing some catching up on your videos - for whatever reason they stopped showing up in my feed.🤷♀Loved this one!! Wishing you a great New Years and looking forward to your videos in 2024!!
Oh no! Make sure your notifications are turned on, so that you will know when I release. I try for every Sunday! 😁 Thanks so much and Happy Holidays! 🥳
Hi Michelle, I didn't watch yesterday, I'm usually right on it but had family coming over so today is the day. You and I get the same things at dollar tree, they are a great price. I laughed when you were talking about "older people" drinking those protein drinks, I was sure you were talking about me 😆😆"70" so now I have to start getting that😂 I also love the reason behind the second channel, you have no idea how much time I have spent looking for certain recipes. That's great. Hope your holiday went well and the New Year is good to you. Charlotte
Hi Charlotte 😁 I could have just as easily been talking about myself 😂 sometimes I think I'm not eating enough and/or what I ate doesn't have enough nutrition. For example, a nice big plate of pasta is tasty, but there's very little nutrition there. 😂 I'm so glad that you think the new channel will be helpful. I think so too. It's going to take me some time to add all the recipes, but overall I think it will be very nice. I didn't think I would get many views by posting this on Christmas Eve, but I wanted to post it anyway fro some of my viewers that don't have families and appreciate the posting.I figured everyone would be doing last minute shopping! I want to thank you again for your very generous Christmas gift. You are such a blessing and I appreciate you! 🥰 Happy Holidays friend -to you and your family!
Welcome 😁 Thanks for watching! Thanks for sharing this! I will add that for my next video! I have some items that had to be cut from this list due to time constraints.
I enjoyed this video. I saw some items here that I have never seen at our Dollar Tree, guess I am going to have to check to see if some of the others have them. Happy Holidays to you and yours :)
Dollar Tree does have some amazing deals. I like to take my time and really look high, low and in between, that's when I find the deals. 🥰🎄❄☃🍴🎁💝✝Merry Christmas !🥰🎄❄☃🍴🎁💝✝
That is SO TRUE! In fact, I wanted to mention that. There are thousands upon thousands of products and sometimes I'll see something while I'm editing that I completely missed in the store! You just can't see everything all at once!
I loved the price comparison video and I would love to see more from other stores. I’m also excited to check out your new channel😁 Thanks for a great video!
Brilliant idea to organize by recipes! Thx. I don't live near a DT. There is a Greenbacks and a little further is a General Dollar. I'm not currently a shopper, but now I wonder how those compare?
Happy Holidays Michelle! I look forward to your videos every week, they have become part of my Sunday routine😊😊. I am excited to check out the new channel. Wishing you and yours all the best now and in the New Year.🌲🌲
That coupon is a great deal!👍 I've been there a few times, but never seem to find much for the type of foods that I eat, Whole Foods with lots of fresh vegetables and a few fruits. I check out their sale ad frequently though. It might be fun to do a video of trying to make some cheap eats with food from there 🤔
i agree. Now i keep all her records digitally through mychart. I used to keep everything in a binder and paper. By the time she was 3, i had filled a 4 inc binder. Luckily now, everything is digital. Love that you have a second channel. I will check it out. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to you and your family. PS. Thank you for your channel. Your voice is so calming! Have you ever thought of orally reading books, (I know there is a word for the profession but cant think of it at the moment!)
Great video Michelle! I can't tell you how helpful this is. When I go to Dollar Tree I get totally overwhelmed with the sheer amount of products - way too much variety! I will definitely grab some super glue, parchment (I go through a lot!), gel pens, note cards, and for sure coconut products. I thing using a planner with many colors of ink is a great idea too and one I'd like to try. What types of planner do you like to use? I currently write myself little lists all the time and often wish I'd kept past lists for reference. Planner is the way! Happy holidays to you and your family! xoxo
Hi Steph 😁 It really is overwhelming! There are literally thousands upon thousands of products! As for the planner that I use, I picked one up at Samsclub called GOAL GETTER HERE AND NOW that has a habit tracker. My biggest need in a planner was the habit /goal tracker so that I can try to keep track of my social media postings, and running program. My 2024 goal was to transition over to an electronic planner (with a paper planner as a backup) and yesterday I was playing around with OneNote and I just fell in love with it. Plus I already had it with the Microsoft Office subscription. I'm able to use Canva (which I already had) to make some beautiful cover work for my pages and create my own habit /goal trackers. I'm a visual person so I need to be able to see everything in front of me in one place. It's also great for people that need to eat special diets to be able to organize everything. Happy Holidays to you and your family and thanks again for the yummy pumpkin sourdough. It's already gone! 😂
Ooh, I'm so glad you loved the bread! I know how quickly it can disappear. I'm so glad I asked you this question about the planner, since I am also a visual person and I already have the Microsoft Office subscription as well. I'm going to play with it today! I usually am scared of electronic planners but I have to believe they've improved since I last tried one out, probably an embarrassing number of years ago! It would be a great help since my life is cluttered enough, and tiny planners are annoying. Thanks Michelle, and merry Christmas to you!@@ArdentMichelle
i use the baby wipes at dollar tree as makeup remover wipes.. just pour a bit of micellar water in the pack and there you go... gentle around the eyes too :o)
Fun video on Dollar Tree! I am interested in many of these items. On the honey peanut butter, it is sweet enough that you don't need to add jam. I have switched to all natural peanut butter, but I used to love this honey peanut butter! I'm so excited for the new recipe channel! 😃
Dollar Tree has been hit or miss for me. I like the non-dairy milk options, the gnocchi is pretty good. I miss the 28oz cans of Muir Glen Organic Tomato Sauce for $1.25, tho! And a very Happy Holidays to you and yours! 🎄
A BREAKFAST or easy main meal Recipe we make with $ tree flour tortillas: scramble 2 eggs, put into a small fry pan and start cooking. Add a bit of grated cheese, then top with a flour tortilla, let cook. Turn over, now top the cooked scrambled-egg-side-up with grated cheese, let cook a bit longer. Fold in half, put on a plate, top with salsa and sour cream. Some of our $ tree buys: cherry pie filling, gnocchi, lasagna noodles, A-1 sauce, pink salt, Aussie red licorice, rice 2 lb bag, flour tortillas, index cards, hair gel, dish soap, laundry detergent, spray cleaner with bleach, gift wrapping, 2/$1 birthday cards, plates, mugs, drinking glasses, bowls, twist top food storage containers, scrub brushes
Bummed out 😆. I was so busy watching I didn’t have time for that. I have a friend that shops a lot at DT. I was near on the other day when I went to ALDI for the first time but I needed to head home. I thought that was a convenient thing for my friend who is a bargain hunter like you. I did get a few deals at ADLI on organic items. OJ to make orange chicken. The new channel is wonderful and I did not realize how much you will be able to do with it. Give your pup a scratch behind the ears. Happy Healthy Holidays
@@ArdentMichelle you’re welcome my friend and thank you Happy Holidays to you as well . I discovered there’s a restaurant that sells pea soup 😆. Pea soup in a nice bread bowl. Looked like heaven. Anderson’s. The place looks interesting architecturally.
I didn’t know they carry shelf stable milk. I use them cuz I hate to toss fresh milk if I don’t have to. So I try to get the small one cup sizes when I can. But a small box like that is great. I’m gonna look for it next time I’m at dollar tree now that the 99¢ only store is gone.
I've noticed that there seem to be more dollar stores popping up in my city. I think maybe dollar stores and thrift stores have actually grown due to the cost of living crisis (and as a result, even thrift stores are overpriced now).
My favorite deal hydrogen peroxide. It is the exact same bottle (different label) as my Safeway, but a quarter of the price (or more at times). We use it in laundry in the bleach thing to get out stains (it gets blood out amazing). Speaking of blood, the LAs totally awesome spray gets our blood and everything else. It’s a yellow liquid. We buy most of our cleaning supplies there.
Another great video. I have bought a 4 pack of toothbrushes at my dollar tree however honestly they are not good quality. After about 10 uses the bristles are flat and are not doing a good job cleaning the teeth.
You still have $1.00 items atyour Dollar Tree??? I use the parchment paper from there, but it is below the quality I was used to using. I need to get more of the aluminum pans, as I used a lot to send food home with family members at Christmas. Nice, Michelle, and good luck with your channels. I am hoping for more time to visit ASAP.
I'm a long time , former employee of Dollar Tree. Just because these items are in your store does NOT mean they will be in all stores at this time. Most new items are regional to that area. District's are stocked differently. So my District might get these items a few weeks later. Btw most of the items you showed are regular stocked items🤷
Thank you for the nice video! I do enjoy your channel a lot! Do you know of the channel called Dollar Tree Dinners? If you are interested in her content, the lady on there, Rebecca, show meals that you can make with Dollar Tree items for people who might not have the means to regularly get to a bigger grocery store.
As a hairdresser I don't recommend the edible food grade Coconut Oil for Hair due to the fact it can become rancid in the hair especially if you wash your hair once a week. Also it's very hard to get out of the hair which makes it worthless due to what you need to remove it with. I have a client she is an adult and a NYC teacher. She "Heard" it's good for your hair. I was doing her hair and she didn't tell me she had it in her hair, and even after it was shampooed it repelled water! So I sent her back to the sink same problem. I asked what is in your hair? With that I sent her to the store to get Dawn (if anyone here realizes they use Dawn to remove oil from Wildlife in the Rivers, Streams etc). It took Two washes to complete remove the Dawn. My advice don't use food grade Coconut oil in your hair, use a more natural conditioner or additive of Coconut oil. Lory from Staten Island NY 🗽😁
@@ArdentMichelle don't listen to me, they may be amazing for you! I only tried two kinds, so that's what I'm going off of lol which isn't alot. Let me know if you've tried it yet!
That's going to be tough. You can check my other channel, but I use a lot of grains in my cooking so you would need to modify the recipes. Even corn is a grain though so you are really only left with fruits vegetables eggs and meat. Link to my other channel is here www.youtube.com/@ArdentMichelle-RECIPES
Screw drivers from Dollar and a Quarter will break on 1st use. Much of the food that is a better deal, is also simply over processed, unhealthy junk. Rice and dry beans and pink salt by the pound is great. All the brown rice i have purchased at Dollar Tree in the past two years has been full of bugs.
I have been a dedicated Dollar Tree shopper for years. The fun aspect for me is that I can try new and different food products for a low cost. Also, being a 1 person household the smaller sizes are perfect and are great for traveling/camping .
I agree with you on the aspect of the smaller sizes being perfect for one. 👍 Same here. I only buy for myself these days!
That’s an amazing deal on the boost drinks! They help me on the days when I have to take my medication that affects my appetite, or if I lose my appetite because of an RA flare up. Next time I stop by dollar tree I’ll definitely pick some up.
I might consider them too because some days I feel I'm not getting enough nutrition. Happy Holidays Friend! 🥳🎄🧑🎄
I love the bana pepper rings. Sometimes my afternoon snack is once slice of bread a half slice of cheese and several banana pepper rings.
I'm so going to try this! 👍
I just wanted to comment on the Dollar General also has some great deals on the toothbrushes and the parchment paper and a lot of other things in their dollar section rather than the 1.25 from Dollar Tree. During these times, that extra adds up fast if you are on a budget.
Great point 👍 I still need to make a day trip to find a Dollar General.
Like to add about DG is their $5 off a $25 purchase coupon. It helps when on a tight budget.
@@spicycopper2436 that sounds like a GREAT deal! Thank you for sharing!

Thanks so much! 😁 Hope you are having a great holiday season!
You need to check the ounces when comparing. I noticed many times although the Dollar Tree stoore is cheaper, the products in other stores are more ounces or quantity.
yes comparing ounces was important to the valuation.
I would love a video on microwave cooking - especially trying to keep it healthy. Thank you for all your videos.
Your welcome 😁 I'll take that into consideration 🤔
Thank you! @@ArdentMichelle
I regularly buy the everything bagel seasoning. Much cheaper just as good, 👍👍👍

I just bought Wildfare Shatta hot pepper sauce from DT today. It’s HOT but delicious.
I always get my green olives there but never noticed the banana peppers. Thank you for another great video!
Thanks for the input....I'll look for that one!
There’s so many good buys at the DT & if u go to one of the huge ones, it’s incredible! 👍🏻🤩😍
I didn't mention it but one of the ones I went to was kind of disorganized with little narrow aisles, but the second one is one of my favorites and is so clean and neat with big wide aisles. It feels so peaceful in there (if that's possible at DT 😂)
I haven't seen the coconut flour but will look for it! I shop happily at Dollar Tree & will always.😊

Family Dollar has a lot of spices for $1.00 each
Dollar Tree has been hit or miss for me. I like the non-dairy milk options, the gnocchi is pretty good. I miss the 28oz cans of Muir Glen Organic Tomato Sauce for $1.25, tho! And a very Happy Holidays to you and yours! 🎄
Happy Holidays! 🥳
Some of our $ tree buys: cherry pie filling, gnocchi, lasagna noodles, A-1 sauce, pink salt, Aussie red licorice, rice 2 lb bag, flour tortillas, index cards, hair gel, dish soap, laundry detergent, spray cleaner with bleach, gift wrapping, 2/$1 birthday cards, plates, mugs, drinking glasses, bowls, twist top food storage containers, scrub brushes
sounds yummy!
Have you ever tried A1 on scrambled eggs? Yum.
no but I bet that is good 👍
Im going to have to go to Dollar Tree!
I always wanted to get the coconut oil from dollar tree but was scared too lol the deal seemed toooo good 😂
Bummed out 😆.
Thanks Victoria 😁 Happy Holidays friend! 🎄
I liked this video! Just subscribed
Yay! 🥳 Thanks for joining my channel!
You have a recipe channel?! I’m going to look for that too

@@ArdentMichelle thanks
😮 wow. My near by stores don’t have many of those products. Maybe it has something to do with each area.
I'm sure it does. The products in my location can vary by store too.
I've noticed that there seem to be more dollar stores popping up in my city. I think maybe dollar stores and thrift stores have actually grown due to the cost of living crisis (and as a result, even thrift stores are overpriced now).
I've noticed the same thing!
Another great, useful video. I enjoyed going shopping w you :) Happy New Year :)
Happy new year!🥳
I haven't seen the peanut butter with honey at my dollar tree
I've seen it before at mine, I've just never tried it. I think sometimes they sell out of it too.
Thanks for sharing this. 😁 I'm going to keep this in mind for the next time I do a DT video
Did you see the liquid stitch at dollar tree?
No I didn't. Is that in the craft area?
Another great video. I have bought a 4 pack of toothbrushes at my dollar tree however honestly they are not good quality. After about 10 uses the bristles are flat and are not doing a good job cleaning the teeth.
Dollar Tree has different brands of the toothbrushes but I have always used the Colgate ones and I think they are fine.
I didn't think so, but I did see the sign on one of the items. Strange. I may need to investigate this further. Thanks so much and Happy Holidays!
I'm a long time , former employee of Dollar Tree. Just because these items are in your store does NOT mean they will be in all stores at this time. Most new items are regional to that area. District's are stocked differently. So my District might get these items a few weeks later.
Btw most of the items you showed are regular stocked items🤷
thanks for sharing your expertise.😁
Thank you for the nice video! I do enjoy your channel a lot! Do you know of the channel called Dollar Tree Dinners? If you are interested in her content, the lady on there, Rebecca, show meals that you can make with Dollar Tree items for people who might not have the means to regularly get to a bigger grocery store.
I sometimes do meals with Dollar Tree items also. Yes, I think I know who she is! Happy Holidays!
Lory from Staten Island NY 🗽😁
thanks for sharing your tip.
I was so excited to try the Alani drinks. Wasn't anything to write home about. Definitely not worth the hype i had been hearing about them.
I got one that's in my fridge but haven't tried it yet. 😞
@@ArdentMichelle don't listen to me, they may be amazing for you! I only tried two kinds, so that's what I'm going off of lol which isn't alot. Let me know if you've tried it yet!
I am trying a no grain, no dairy diet for the next 4 months. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
That's going to be tough. You can check my other channel, but I use a lot of grains in my cooking so you would need to modify the recipes. Even corn is a grain though so you are really only left with fruits vegetables eggs and meat. Link to my other channel is here

If the peaches weren't sell able why were they on the shelf? That doesn't make sense!! JS
I know right?!?!?!
I cant stomach the alani coffee ones. They were very chalky
I haven't tried it yet. It's in my fridge now. After drinking protein shakes for so many years though, I'm kind of used to chalky 😂
Can't access your recipes channel. Channel link won't work for me. Sigh.
that's odd. Try googling Ardent Michelle Recipes Channel and then scroll until you see it.
I've been using my little screw driver from DT for years. I'm sorry that hasn't been your experience with them.
I have been having A LOT of issues at walmart when they cant sell me a product. Very weird
That's strange. I've been having issues with their spaghetti quality 😂 keep getting packages with noodles that break apart.
Heads up on loofas...never use the nylon ones on your skin. Too harsh. Advice from a professional.
they seem so much softer than the other ones though 🤔
