Let's say I'm moving into a student apartment on 17th Aug, will I have to pay from 1st Aug or I can inform student housing about my move-in date so that I can save money. I'm relocating to Turku with my husband for MSIT at Abo Akademi University hopefully in mid-August.
Aoa! Please advise. I have an appointment on August 5th, and classes start on August 19th. My Program Coordinator told me to reach by September 5th, or my studies will be deferred to August 2025. The RP card can take up to 1.5 months to deliver, which would make me very late, so I am considering applying for a D visa. I have a friend in Dubai where I can stay for a month. So living cost is not a problem. If my decision is positive, Insha Allah, I can get the D visa sticker in a week or two and reach Finland by August 19 or September 1 to receive the RP card there. This way, I won't be late for my classes, and it will be cheaper than traveling back to Pakistan and then to Helsinki, as I'll be moving from Abu Dhabi to Finland directly. So should i proceed with D - visa or not ?

Yes in this case you should go for D-Visa as you won't be able to attend classes if you will go for the RP card
