I don't like these stories because I don't think the paranormal exists. It's all bullshit so it was probably something more likely. Either Jane did it herself, there was a mini earthquake that made things fall over and Jane panicked, or something else like that.
The problem with the Dybbuk box specifically, is that it is supposed to be a containment vessel for an evil spirit. It isn't the box that people are afraid of--it's the thing that escaped the box when you were dumb enough to open it that people believe causes problems. This means that, if you destroy the box, rather than fixing anything, it just means that the spirit is completely uncontained. I don't believe in the supernatural, but there is clearly something really strange about this box, and not just in the creation of a psychosomatic effect. For example, Post Malone touched this box as a joke during the screening of a TV show (Paranormal Witness) and the tires on the private jet he took on the way home deteriorated on the runway and caused the plane to go out of control. There are just too many of those strange, bad, coincidences surrounding this for me to want to play around with it.
This box is famous and they do actively keep tabs of it. So, they won't forget it and I assume, because people who are into the Metaphysical know this box well, that they would keep it somewhere it won't be accidentally found. Studies are occasionally performed on it and its even been on display a few times too. So it has to be relatively accessible and accounted for. I believe the owner has also shared the location with a few major people including some family members and the box does have a warning just to be safe. Idk if that helps you feel better lol but yeah.
9:17 I once played with a Ouija board, not even in real life, but an online one. After I asked it a few questions, I got up from my computer and could NOT shake the feeling that I was being watched. And it didn't feel like being watched from just 1 person, but a LOT, maybe 15. I went downstairs and ate dinner, and I was so afraid to go back up to my room, I was imaginng it being completely trashed when I got up there. I prayed to God that night and it stopped. Never done that again in the past 7+ years or something. It was absolutely terrifying.
"Kevin didn't want the box in his store... so he puts it in his house..." I see... very logical indeed... If all of that shit happened to me, I would've already been trying to figure out a way to burn it, burry it, or throw it down a cliff or whatever possible man... But no... He decided that putting that ominous fucking box inside his house would somehow be a better idea than in the store...
Im imagining there was a really dedicated rogue electrician that was destroying their local wifis and surging electricity to burn their toast and destroy their lights. Then he gave the college kids hair removal drugs in their sleep and mixed hallucinogens in their water while they slept
Lol I recognized the screenshot on sight. I was just at Zacs Haunted Museum where they show that scene and the box. Im not sure if I believe but after that event he spent some money locking it down.
I have to admit that you two gave me a few laughs with your comments, but I have Jewish friends who would have been pissed because they take this stuff very very seriously (especially about the locks of hair comment); I'm a Buddhist, but I fully believe that Dybbuk boxes contain evil spirits, so while I'd actually like to have one at some point, I'd never open it. Also, IDK if you're interested in these kinds of horror movies (not a found footage, just so you know), but there's a movie I recommend called The Possession, that was inspired by this story; instead of it being a man who buys the box at a sale, one of his daughters chooses it & it proceeds to open itself for her; to quote Nuke, "It did not go well."
What I wonder is for the modern dybbuk box sellers all on eBay and Etsy, hoe do they know for a fact what allowed itself to be placed in the box? There’s a big difference between entities and spirits
If this is the box I think it is, it’s currently in the possession of a paranormal investigator, as a display for a haunted museum that contains other occult, haunted, cursed, and possessed items.

The dybbuk box was sold to a guy named Zak Bagan and he opened it… 🤦🏻♀️ because „I’m a weird guy“, it sits now in Nevada in a museum in a glass case. Sam and Colby, together with a medium called Amanda went there. Also Malone went there and Zak touched the box and Malone was like „let’s go!“ and touched Zak, Zak literally jumped and it was weird and after that Post Malone had an emergency landing of his plane, a armed robbery at his house and a car crash… luckily he survived everything unscathed… but yeah great job Zak… 🙄
Zak bagans actually bought the box or other boxes and is in his haunted museum in Las Vegas he has a show called Ghost Adventures where post Malone was on and if I remember post opened it and later he was in a accident or something should watch the episode
First a definition. A Society for the Occult as I mean it, is a gathering or group of people that study and believe in Paranormal/Religious/Oddities connected with the Occult. The best option honestly, after sealing the box, would be to search down a long standing group that studies the occult. I have experience myself with members of several Occult Societies and these people take these things very seriously and know the dangers associated with certain objects and why they need to be kept away from the public. As long as all the people that have owned it or know about it document their experiences, they will care for the box. Unlike say a Museum of Oddities or some such that can close down due to funds or simply no one wants to take over the business, a Group is always gaining new members. There are groups that have been around since the 1400's.
The best option is to destroy the object by burning it to ash. These things work on belief and anchoring. If they're destroyed, the demonic link to the physical dimension is severed.
@@Ateezwooyoung no. I'm not. Demons can't be magically sealed, idiot. They're extradimensional beings with limited influence over our world. Ask anyone who has gotten a cursed object who burned it. It works. There is no spirit, idiot.
This is not really for you to react to but maybe just to watch .. made me think of the film "The Possession" that came out in 2012 stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Kyra Sedgwick about their daughter gets take over by a dybbuk so they have to go to Rabbis for help to exorcise her . .. great film though if you like horror/thriller
Destroying it, will just set the evil spirit free. Right now, the entity, the dybbuk is attached or rather bound to the object, when you destroy the object, no matter the object, the spirit goes free and can attach itself to everyone and everything. Why do you think the Warrens keep/kept all the hunted/cursed objects?
Now Zack Bagan owns to David box now and he keep it at his Museum and weird stuff has been going on as it at his Museum and being caught on camera I took customers
This story is a great example of “be careful what you wish for” as everyone was excited to have a haunted box UNTIL they had a haunted box 😂
I don't like these stories because I don't think the paranormal exists. It's all bullshit so it was probably something more likely. Either Jane did it herself, there was a mini earthquake that made things fall over and Jane panicked, or something else like that.
