Hi Jonny, just checked in and read that you managed to make contact with the viral wonder (or more likely it with you) - it's as if it intelligently mutates and actively plots strategies to eventually overcome unwelcoming hosts. Maybe one day it will be considered a vital cellular organelle, akin to mitrocondria and become a useful adjunct. Keep safe and healthy.
Thank you so much for your comment - I really appreciate it 🙂 I have been somewhat unwell - after 3 years of living like a hermit I finally contracted covid, which I had hoped to avoid due to existing conditions. Thankfully, I received antivirals quickly and got through it relatively ok - took three weeks before I tested negative and now I’m just enjoying the after effects! Currently I‘m in Finland with my wife’s family so it has been a while since I’ve done much in the garden.
@@jonnyskitchengarden I’m glad your getting better and spending time with family. We have been very hermit like and so far lucky enough to avoid the dreaded Covid 🙏. Oh my your garden must be missing you 🫢. Have a lovely trip and relax 👍
I have a Montmorency cherry tree. Would the pruning you showed for the Morello also apply to the Montmorency?. Thank you, very helpful video.
Yes, it would be the same for any sour cherry, including the Montmorency 👍😊

Thanks Peter! It is taking a long time to get back to normal but I am pleased to be over the worst of it 👍😊
Hope you’re well it’s been a while since you posted, Ali 🌞🥵🫠🇨🇦
