Iron Mans proton cannon is unstoppable in this game
I don't think I've ever gotten perfect without 2 gunners*; SUPER IMPRESSED! The secret to the highest scores is to have your partners perfect at the end. If they get hit while assisting, that does not matter so long as they recover before the game is over...If you are playing a timed game, it helps to get a good time. Still, time doesn't matter as much as 2 perfect lives at the end.
With that setup, I've done it many times. But, what you did is more impressive!
Scratch that, I think I have done it with Sentinel, Hulk, and Storm. Still, I consider Sentinel and Storm to be the best 2 in the game. So, I do not consider that a big deal. Why? Because, Storm--in addition to her fighting ability, speed, and long range attacking--has the best assist in the game: One of her typhoon assists goes screen-high... With Sentinel, his one-button mouth blast saps your energy even if you block it; IM/Cable/WM's one-button blast does not. Then, if you're an expert with Sentinel, you can make all of its weapons come very fast(getting in a rhythm doing so)...

My favorite end pose with this team is when you can get them all to raise their fists, with Iron Man on either the left or right, Cap in the center, and Hulk on whatever side Tony isn't on.
