I love having a graphic & parametric on all outputs. None of the other rack mount mixers offer this feature. And A&H mixers sound great. Been playing sax & mixing for shows over 40yrs. A&H mixers are extremely dependable.
No subgroups or DCAs, and only 4 basic effects (2 reverbs, a chorus, and a delay. NO fancy compressors!) with limited control. Otherwise, not a bad mixer. Waiting to see what people say about the built-in router...
Great video, thanks. I have one question. I can record via sd multitrack but when i playback, it doesn’t play through my headphones or mains. What am i missing?
That’s great to hear! We were going to go with a behringer XR18 because of its multitrack recording ability but sadly they became impossible to find in stock so we had to go with a X32 rack which we are very glad we did. But this seems like it might be a great alternative to the always out of stock XR18!
I wait to real A B test, Yamaha DM3, Allen & heath Qu pack, Soundcraft ui 16, Midas M18, Me interesed default sound quality! Thanks!

Where will i connect subwoofers?
How do you use the USB for playing music
is there a built-in mp3 player, and what files will it read? is there an input for this player?
You should be able to load MP3's via the USB port!

Can you record the stereo channels to multitrack ?
If I use it as an audio interface to record into a DAW, can the CQ-20B record all 16 channels + the 2 pairs of stereo inputs at 96khz?
Yes you can!
Clarification, I don’t believe the 1/4” inputs record at 96k, just the 16 xlrs
Need 32ch version of CQ series please release (cq32t)

Thank you for the review. One question: Can you patch at least 4 mono USB channels in addition to the 16 local inputs?
Looking at the manual it appears that the answer to your question is no. The USB jack is for USB multitracking only
@@EMIAudio It is a pity. Many thanks though.
Do we have a windows application for this mixer? Or only ipad app
PC and Mac apps "coming soon", according to the website.
Does it record all inputs as separate tracks /multitrack recording onto the SD card?
Yes it does!

Can you plug in an SM7B directly or still need a Cloudlifter?
I Believe that you would still need a cloud lifter!
Art the alt outs parallel with the mains? or is that programmable as a matrix out?
