Thanks for another helpful review. Just starting out on my motorcycle journey, and this is now on the shortlist. I think the top box in your review does come included in the price, though, and you can get a bigger one for extra £££. Keep up the good work!
I was on one of these today. My first practice lesson in over 20 years (first one didn't go well), I really enjoyed it but think I need a bit more practice before thinking about a CBT, not quite good on it yet.
Thanks Peter. Have a read through the comments because some owners have commented. If you look up Sinnis UK it should have details about servicing and if not, please contact them and I’m certain they’ll give you the info. 👍🏼
Thanks for the review gents. For the price it's a bit of a bargain Seen another review and apparently two guys rode a pair of these to Mongolia from the UK so Chinese/far East are junk is becoming a tad old hat. Be interested in your 380 review, many thousands of riders just don't have the incomes to afford Africa twins ,BMWs etc. The HONDA 50 outsold any bike ever made just because It was affordable reliabilty for the masses . Seen plenty of them in the far East going off road with the whole family on-board the poor little thing Now that is what i call an adventure.
That sump guard does look a bit flimsy if I was going to do green laneing on this I’d be tempted to bond coat it with some layers of GRP . My old OSSA had a GRP sump guard and it was tough as old boots
Great review chaps, not the bike for me as I’m Ol’ Man size but a great bike for the money. Great adventures to be had on small machines, ask Nathan Millard. 👍
Hey guys liked this review.quite honest about the capabilities of this bike in case anyone thought it was a full on adventurer bike. It's actually quite a nice bike and well priced...where is this bike made ...india? What was your opinion on the build quality when ye were up close with the bike? Was the finish decent?
Thanks Mark. China we believe. The build quality is not bad; not amazing either. It’s not a full on off road adventure bike but it has some good luggage capacity
i bought this hoping to get in 3 to four weeks time cause updating my licence from automatic to gear ive been driving only automatic scooters for 8 year dont know anything about motorcycle and im worried dont know know what to expect not the best at learning
Motorcycle gears are very simple, much easier than a car for example. Left hand is clutch, left foot operates the gears. It’s down for 1st gear and then up for the rest of them, and of course down again when you’re slowing down.
Mark Leitch To be honest, I’d lose all the crash bars, plastic panels etc and get it down to the bear chassis. It doesn’t need all that extra stuff; it’s just styling
@@MrDarcy-OlMan hi there. Nice review. Did you find out the panniers capacity in litres ? Very curious but can not find the info anywhere. I'm considering to buy that bike for my son. Cheers 😎
Some 125 cc have almost 15 , bhp that is the law regarding 125 cc , quite a few have 14 nearly 15 , now euro 5 is out this review needs updated as the new model is water cooled cheers shane uk 🇬🇧
Looking to get this as my first bike im 5ft11 and defiantly not the lightest person lol but mainly want this to be able to tour local towns and was wondering if its also good for getting around the city?
@@MrDarcy-OlMan i want one but adv 125 are rare in my country. Someone told me that derbi terra and honda varadero are good adv bikes but i think they cant be bought brand new.
@@andrejpetrovic3253 neither Derbi/Honda are manufactured anymore, the 2021 version of the sinnis terrain is now liquid cooled and 6 gears, where's the older version was air cooled and 5 gears, this is 12.7 bhp so up from the older model and is good for 60 mph
It’s shameful that adults have to ride 125s in England. 125cc’ are literally toddlers bikes, 5yrlds ride 125s. CBT should be for all bikes depending on cc and age. Everything else is just a waste of time and money.
Which is true until one considers the statistics proving the aspirations of many adults far outstrips their ability. From what I understand when CBT was introduced the novice rider death rate did fall but one cannot completely legislate for stupidity. My instructor yesterday said he sees young lads on his course listening to the importance of protective gear then the next day sees them out in shorts, t shirt and a basic helmet. Perhaps it’s the Darwin theory in practice. Almost any motorbike offers brisk performance around a dangerous urban environment. A friend of mine that was a police motorcycle instructor told me about the number of brand new licence holders that had gone straight out and bought something powerful. They’re not with us anymore. I’m not getting into biking for the speed, my car fulfils that. It’s about the journey and my taste of it yesterday was fantastic.
Love the honesty of your reviews, that's the only time I've heard a burp left in. A review on the pups next, thanks.
splodge 57 Lol thanks bro. 🐶
Not the slightest bit interested in this bike, although styling is cool but love supporting your channel 👍Nice touch with the rogue puppies.
Thanks buddy!

Guy Riches No worries Guy. Sinnis website state that the side panniers are included. If that’s changed that’s a bonus!
Just bought one, smaller top box is defo standard, larger one that takes a helmet is an optional extra
James Scoltock OK that’s great! Let us know how you get on with it 👊🏼
Good review but the top box does come with it as standard and the is an optional bigger top box for it
madcrazybonkers Thanks! 👊🏼 Yes that wasn’t clear on Sinnis website.

Brilliant video great commentary,My question is about service intervals and do you have any knowledge of any high milage problems yet.

Lee B Thanks bro. Interesting comments 👍🏼👍🏼
Looking forward to the 380 review. Suspect it will give the RE Himalyan a run for its money, especially if it comes in £500 less.
Yes good point! We shall see 👍
If this bike had a slightly higher hp with a watercooled 4v double overhead cam like most modern 125 engines it would be a winner for shure..
Nice review 👍
Thanks! 👍 Glad you liked it!
Great review love the puppies 🐶
Thanks! Haha yes they are cute!
That sump guard does look a bit flimsy if I was going to do green laneing on this I’d be tempted to bond coat it with some layers of GRP .
My old OSSA had a GRP sump guard and it was tough as old boots
Lee B Yes it’s purely cosmetic tbh.
just take it off take it to the nearest metal fabricators with the right equipment they will scan it and machine one in in aluminum

Thanks Peter. We’ve got some cracking big bikes at the end of next week!
Great review, but I'm afraid the puppies stole the show.
Michael Thorpe Thanks! Yes they certainly did 👍🏼
The wandering t shirt, rare that now
NWJAY yeah sure is! I’ve got a few different ones
@@MrDarcy-OlMan great review aswell, got myself a sinnis apache, love the thing
NWJAY That’s great! Sinnis make great bikes.
Id like to know where you can legally go off road in the UK. Certainly not on public footpaths or
farmland.
Any right of way marked as a 'Byway' (not footpath, or bridleway. Some farmers may give you permission.
Check out your local trials or MX club usually they have practice grounds
The ACU ( auto cycle union have a published list )
Mutt Motorcycle UK might launch limited edition Stravaig 125 tourer version this August. If you guys can get it, please review 😊
14 litres = 3.08 UK gallons @ 100 MPG = 300 miles not 365?
👍🏼

You still can ride a geared bike if you did your CBT on a automatic. Not sure when that'll change though 🤔
Awesome video sir ..
Mohammed Irfan Thank you! 👍🏼
Great review , I have a GSXR 125 myself 😊
She_Ridez thanks! The Suzuki is nice!
@@MrDarcy-OlMan yes it sure is , I am happy with my choice
14 liters ? I've only been able to get 11 liters in it
Ken Robertson that’s what they say 👍🏼

All the panniers and top box are included have to pay for the bigger top box 38L or 48L can't remember the exactly size of it

The puppies are excused! Nice bike, have it on my shortlist. But 11,2hp is the limit? Tought 11kW was the limit on power. 15hp.
winteronice you’re quite right the limit is 11kw I got that muddled up haha!
winteronice 14 bhp and yes 11kw.
winteronice PS. The Sinnis has 8.3kw
Great vid!
Thanks Laurence 👍
Check out riding from reality, they rode two of these from UK to Mongolia with no problems
Old school wandering t shirt 👍

Yes this was the pre euro 5 model, will have a terrain 380 review coming soon hopefully.
I am about 6 foot 2/3. Do you Think a Sinnis terrain 125cc is too small? Great video btw!
It’s not too bad tbh. There aren’t any ‘big’ 125’s 👍🏼
Sinister rain?
Ooh could be!

Get a Varadero
they are no longer made in 125 format, I believe they stopped manufacturing them in 2018
