Everyone in the comments is saying how these are bad for your skin and how badly they damage it. However, I’ve watched several videos and read articles about what dermatologists say about them. Basically, they aren’t going to damage your skin that much, but they don’t help prevent anything either. Also, if you guys are getting burned or redness from these stripes, don’t use them. I’m not a licensed dermatologist, and I’m not claiming to be. All I am saying is not all noses are the same. Every person’s skin has different reaction.
These are so bad for your skin, they can cause enlarged pores on your nose in the long run, and lead to irritation, redness and sensitivity on the nose. Irritation is pro-aging, which is the opposite of what you want in the long-term! You are better served by a good cleansing oil/balm used daily to remove sunscreen and makeup, as well as a BHA exfoliant 2-3x a day, and if your blackheads are rly intense, a good clay mask but make sure it doesn't contain fragrance, menthol, camphor, essential oils that can irritate the skin. Product suggestions: 1. Cleansing oil/balm - Kose softymo speedy cleansing oil (get the one in the pink bottle, not orange) - DHC cleansing oil - Purito cleansing oil - Heimish all clean balm 2. BHA exfoliant - Cosrx - Paula's Choice - Inkey List - The Ordinary 3. Clay mask - Kiehls rare earth clay mask (works great, not too drying and not too heavy for oily skin)
I know their bad for me but I still use them because I can’t afford to get it professionally done or the other methods I have to use the walmart brand of these tho 😔
As a Plastic Surgeon, I can tell you than using CLEAN electrical tape on a CLEAN nose works very well, and it’s cheap! Keep the roll of tape in a sealed Ziplock bag between uses.
Try exfoliating but don't use scrubs. You can maybe try clay masks but I am pretty sure that doing your research you can find products to get rid of those deep blackheads BTW got rid of my Blackheads using these products. 😊👍🏻

Jane Byfield yes :( they can increase sensitivity and rip your skin if damaged! and even sometimes if it isn’t ! they don’t get out blackheads, only subaceous filiments. you should try the paulas choice exfoliant!! the small version is i think $8 so same price and it’s sooo good for your skin and works much better :)

That promo video with the easy removal of the strip is NOT real. They are super hard to remove and hurt like crazy. They may clean your pores some but since they hurt so bad I would never buy them again.
Excessive use will push out pores and enlarge them. Use wash clothes day and night and rub gently all over your face and use Salysic acid (Neutrigena wipes, Stridex pads) to unclog pores.

Try the ordinary salicyl acid serum, it’s cheap and will give you long term results
