Disney made its 1st wildlife short in 1953 ,BBC set up a dedicated unit in 57 after already makin that many award winning docs a untit was needed. So yeah,Disney made a kids short 1st but when it comes to pure quality just David Attenbouruogh's 'life on earth' series alone beats anything any country makes .Theres a reason nat geo,Animal planet ect ect all use our footage n dub their own voices on..What Disney put on cinema as a big release we have as regular sunday night doc....
Checkout 'Life' ,'Blue planet' 'Africa' ,'Life in the freezer' ,'life in cold blood' or basically anything from BBC natural history unit in Bristol and tell me with a straight face the Depth, knowledge and mind blowing photography is 'better' than Disneys output in that field ....And then look at who actually phisically shot the footage any decent Disney wildlife doc and 80% of the time its a Brit anyway.....

Your joking, right? It wouldn't even be a genre without Disney!

David Attenborough's Nature Documentorys > anything Disney will ever be able to make.
Is there a copy anywhere of the preview reel with short shots of all the upcoming movies that was shown at this panel and during Iger's opening?
