Lyle is so mature and I hope he has gotten the help he needs in jail, they should have been given therapy instead of being in jail, that's what I think 😢❤🎉

Every child deserves a loving mother, a mother who will always protect and care for them. I'm sorry Lyle and Erik never had that, at least now they know the rest of their family loves them and wants the best for them.

Lyle and Erik formed a very strong trauma bond which included protecting their mother. Finding out kitty had known what was going on and did nothing to protect them was a betrayal their already fragile minds could not make sense of.
It’s difficult to function as an adult under this kind of distress. To do this to your own children is, almost, unforgivable.

How do people want proof of abuse? Because of course the abuser doesn't want to be discovered because they know that's wrong and illegal.

  • @2jbelli
    @2jbelli 11 วันที่ผ่านมา +11

For those ppl who question their abuse by saying, well why did they shoot their mother so many times and their dad only got 5 shots? That must mean they killed them for the money. Nope. This testimony from Lyle shows how resentful he was of their mom for not doing anything to protect them and letting them be abused by their dad. If she were any other mother, she could’ve stood up to Jose and left him taking her boys away from him but she made her decision and this was her unfortunate ending

There was no way that these kids know what is going on. They had no idea what is normal and what is not normal. Even after murder, they talk about s.x not about abuse or rape!!!!!
Today, it is unbelievable how the sociaty changed, awareness about abuse and everything.
We had i 2024. The case with French woman who is a real hero and said that she wants public court process about how her husband organized more than 50 persons to rape her. She shifted the shame from victim to those criminals.
Brothers were victims. They had no chance.
Alfter all, the system did no believe them, they were 35 years in prison . Even if they are free tomorrow, there is no way now to get a life again.

    * ⚖️ Consequences of Choices: Lyle ponders the tragic outcomes of their mother’s decisions, indicating how these choices have reverberated throughout their lives.
    Key Insights
    * 📖 Complexity of Disclosure: Lyle testimony illustrates the complexity of disclosing abuse, particularly when the victim struggles to articulate their experiences and feelings to those close to them. This underscores the need for more open dialogues about abuse within families, enabling victims to feel safe and supported when sharing their experiences. The failure to communicate can often lead to tragic misunderstandings and a lack of necessary intervention.
    * 🛑 Denial and Ignorance: The testimony points to a common phenomenon in cases of familial abuse: denial and ignorance. Lyle’s mother seemingly chose not to acknowledge the signs of abuse, which raises questions about her role as a protector. This highlights a critical insight into the psychological mechanisms that can lead individuals to ignore uncomfortable truths within their families, often resulting in further victimization.
    * 😔 Impact on Relationships: The emotional fallout from the abuse extends beyond the direct victim; it affects familial relationships profoundly. Lyle’s conflict between love for their mother and feelings of betrayal illustrates how abuse can fracture family bonds and complicate emotional attachments. This insight emphasizes the long-term psychological effects of abuse not only on the victim but also on their relationships with loved ones.
    * 💔 The Weight of Secrets: The burden of keeping secrets about abuse can be heavy and isolating for victims. Lyle’s acknowledgment of their vague complaints to their mother suggests a struggle to articulate their pain, reflecting a broader issue where victims may feel trapped by societal or familial expectations. This highlights the importance of creating safe spaces for victims to share their stories without fear of judgment.
    * 🔄 Intergenerational Trauma: Lyle’s experience hints at the possibility of intergenerational trauma, where the effects of abuse can ripple through families. The mother’s potential ignorance or her direct ignorant because she didn’t do anything when the cousin told her ,may have roots in her own experiences or societal conditioning, suggesting a cyclical nature of trauma that needs to be addressed to break the pattern. This insight points to the need for educational initiatives that inform families about the signs of abuse and the importance of intervention.
    * 🕊️ Healing and Forgiveness: Lyle’s expression of tears for their mother indicates a deep-seated desire for healing and forgiveness, despite the pain. This complexity shows that the process of healing from abuse is multifaceted and often includes navigating feelings of love, loss, and forgiveness toward those who may have failed to protect the victim. Understanding this emotional landscape is crucial for therapists and support systems working with survivors of abuse.
    * ⚖️ Accountability and Responsibility: The testimony calls for accountability, both for the abuser and the family members who may have turned a blind eye. It raises critical discussions about the responsibilities of parents to protect their children and the moral implications of inaction. This insight encourages conversations about the societal structures that support or hinder accountability in cases of abuse, advocating for systemic changes that prioritize victim protection and support.
In conclusion, the video highlights the complex emotional dynamics surrounding abuse, familial relationships, and the intricate pathways towards healing and accountability. Lyle’s testimony serves as a powerful reminder of the need for open communication, awareness, and compassion in addressing the devastating effects of abuse and don’t ignore any signs , otherwise there might be bigger harm .
