Love this. Takes me back 25 yrs (plus) surfing with friends locally, great times in France as well. Haven't stopped surfing since, just older, heavier but still got the stoke. Nice to see indy films like this, good on ya.
Nice work guys. From a 52 year old who came back to the sport after +20 years. Watching this video was like looking at myself and my buddies having fun back in the late 80's, back home in Margarita island, Venezuela. I can say with pride that it wasn't easy to come back but, I surf better now than in my teens. Once a surfer, always a surfer. BTW, I was surfing in Pensacola, Fl. All spring/summer last year (whenever there was waves). Never stop surfing!!!
Thanks for the message! We love that our video brought back some great memories for you. We are all obsessed with the sport and will continue to be in the distant future. Props to you for getting back into it and even improving your game. Cheers
Great film, absolutely nailed it!! Reminded me of the old skate movies back in the day. Looks like you were at The Big Strand and Machir Bay? How did you like Islay? Im on the strand most days kiteboarding, looking to surf Machir via a waveski in the coming year. Hope you all come back at some point. Just subbed.
Thanks for the message! Glad you enjoyed. Yeah I believe it was them 2 beaches. We did a lot of driving about looking for spots but a lot was blown out and messy. Would be sick to come back for a clean day. Absolutely stunning island though, the views made it!
Great movie guys! If you guys are around the arches or the other secret spot gimmr a shot happy to join u guys, most of the times i surf there no crowds.
Some decent looking waves in there. As another commenter said, this is the essence of what surfing is, and should be. Having fun with mates. I appreciate the multiple party and shared waves in this! Need more sharing in the world. This looks like it was a lot of fun to make and edit with your friends. Hope the uni work is going well. Scotland has always been enchantingly beautiful to me. Definitely on the bucket list to visit some day. What seasons was this filmed in? What's the water temp in some of these clips? Is the surfing scene and community decent in Scotland? I know I could just Google, but I'm interested in hearing your perspective. Thanks for creating a fun surf film 💚
Thanks for the message. This means a lot! Yeh Scotland can be incredible for the surf and scenery if you know where to look. This was filmed since January this year so all relatively recent. Better waves for us here during Winter but water temp can get down to 6 degrees Celsius. It's around 11-12 degrees now which is not too bad for us! The surfing scene is pretty cool, lots of different communities of surfers all around the place. Plenty of places for exploration and most locals happy to explain spots and where to go if you just ask. Localism can be seen in some places which is kinda funny but as long as you're respectful I've never had an issue. We have a wave pool being built here so surfing is definitely on the rise. Hope you make it out one day. Cheers for watching
Legends, you tube needs more of these kind of short independent films ❤🙏🏻 bless brothers
Thanks you! Means a lot

That was fun. Thanks Archie and to the boys charging the chilly waves. Only a surfer knows the feeling !!! ...(peeing in your wet suit to get warm).

this is rad. feels closer to the essence of surfing than a lot of highly manicured flicks do. cheers from san diego
