Adding spacers behind the B Pillar Lock will move the Roof Bar to the Inside of the cabin. But Is there any way to adjust the Y Offset in the other direction? or can the tracks coming up from behind be adjusted towards the inside? I need my Roof Bar tracks to be further to the outside.
Hi, Thanks for the reply, I have stripped it down and it seems the hook that closes the roof by hooking over the striker bar doesn't fully complete on one side, i have tried greasing and adding spacers behind the striker plate but still no joy any other advice would be really appreciated. Thank you
@@byPulsey much better, put a thin washer behind the latch on the front screen, the hook on the roof wasn’t quite reaching, then sprayed silicone on the side slide runners and front latch and kept working them over a 2 week period. Much better now 👍
Hi, My 451 Cabrio roof doesn't close equally at the screen so I get wind noise on that side, can I adjust something to bring the roof tighter on that side? Thank you for any help
Yes, it is possible to adjust the roof on your W451 Cabrio to bring it tighter on the side where you are experiencing wind noise. The adjustment will depend on the specific issue causing the uneven closure of the roof. First, you should check if there is any debris or obstruction preventing the roof from closing evenly. If this is the case, remove the debris or obstruction and try closing the roof again to see if the problem has been resolved. If there is no debris or obstruction, the issue may be with the roof latch. Check if the latch is securely fastened and tightened. If it is loose, tighten it using the appropriate tools. If the issue persists, you may need to adjust the tension on the roof cables. This can be done by loosening the cables and then tightening them to ensure equal tension on both sides. If you are not comfortable performing these adjustments yourself, it is recommended that you take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic or dealership to have the roof inspected and repaired. They will have the expertise and tools to properly diagnose and fix the issue.
Did you find them? They are just spacers. I imagine you can just cut a small section out of washers the correct thickness if you cannot get the part. Not ideal I know but I may have to try and adjust my soft top myself because it doesn't close properly. I can't afford a pro to do it.

Convert a coupe smart 451 to cabrio? Is it possible? Or somehting alike to this?
It's possible, but it will be much cost to pay. Better sell the coupe one and buy cabrio then
Help! That last part number is for the windshield. My tabs for the soft top catches. Just like the last part of the video shows.
