(Not very) Fun fact: CatNap and DogDay were NEVER friends.
Explanation: Do you say they were close? No. CatNap barely knows DogDay and hated him for no reason. Another fact is that toys that are made from children hates toys that are made from adults. CatNap was an 8 year old child named "Theodore Grambell". Dogday's real name was unknown but he's confirmed to be above 20 years old. This makes CatNap extremely hate Dogday especially that CatNap is 1006's most loyal servant. So that is that, CatNap hates Dogday because, Dogday is an adult, they barely know each other, and Dogday is a heretic. They were never friends because CatNap doesn't get along with anyone excluding 1006.

@@Goku-fan114 Wrong reason. Catnap wanted to kill Dogday not because of jealousy but because Dogday was a heretic. Catnap hates anyone who opposes the Prototype so that's why he killed Dogday. Catnap doesn't want to be the leader anyway, all he wants is that all employees should die and everyone should worship the Prototype. This "Catnap was jealous of Dogday" is just another dumb theory that fans that never played or watched Poppy Playtime (no offense).

Atleast until The Hour Of Joy happened, we didnt see Dogday kill anyone, but Catnap did. Catnap was saved by The Prototype/Experiment 1006 (long needle fingers that dragged Mommy Longlegs away after we killed her. Theodore Grambell became Catnap when he nearly died to an electric shock that was caused by a grabpack. The Prototype gave up his freedom to bring Theodore to a scientist, which was when he became Catnap. Catnap/Experiment 1188 began to treat The Prototype as a god. If a toy did not worship The Prototype, Catnap would deem that toy as a "heretic" he would also kill that very toy, and most likely make the dead toy a part of the shrine Catnap made for The Protoype. Dogday was a "heretic". now, as I stated Catnap would kill any toy who does not worship The Prototype (possibly the reason of most of the Smiling Critters deaths). Dogday however was different, he was spared by Catnap. Unfortunately, Dogday lost his legs (his legs were probably torn off by Catnap), and was trapped in a cell in the playhouse. He ends up dying to the mini critters. They crawl into his body from where his legs should be (i think one of them actually crawled in through his eye) They then chase us through the playhouse. When we reach the end of the chase, a scream of some sort is heard, it was either Dogday screaming, or the mini critters screaming cause they failed to catch the player, they knew that failing would anger Catnap, and cost them their lives because they had failed to get us
