- Did you miss this in Zootopia? There was a clue about future Disney movies that was hiding in plain sight. When Officer Hopps and Nick spot Duke Weaselton selling bootleg movies, there’s copies of movies that he claims “aren’t even out yet” including parodies of Moana which would come out later the same year Zootopia was released as well as Frozen 2, which wouldn’t come out for another 3 whole years! The other, Giraffic, was a pun on Gigantic, a Disney film which would later be canceled before being completed.

Omg I wish Iron man wasn't killed off. I loved those movies and his attitude and what he gave to the movies. RDJ is the ONLY actor who should ever play Iron man and I am so glad no one else got the part. Amazing actor for the lart......alas I am genuinely sad he is gone.
also there was a little reference to frozen in there- the duke of weaseltown in frozen was pronounced “wessel-ton” but got mispronounced with “weasel-town”, while in zootopia it’s the duke of weaseltown “weasel-town” and it’s the weasel

Because a lot of people didn’t go back to rewatch the movie. It’s a reference to things that weren’t yet mainstream, and one of the references was to a movie that was never officially announced.

Yeah I was confused about that too because when Moana came out and we were rewatching this movie we were confused cuz we knew that zootopia came out before Moana but yeah I spotted it
I mean it makes sense about Frozen it was one of the most profitable Disney films so of course they would make a sequel to milk it

Frozen II was inevitable knowing how popular frozen 1 was.
Given that these movies were most likely in the pipeline/in production when Zootopia released, it makes sense. Hell, Moana was already done by that point, so that makes the most sense.

Weaselton’s name was also a shout out. Alan Tudyk played the Duke of Weselton in Frozen. Someone even calls him Weselton by mistake
