Child Sexuality Education

In this episode, Mrs Gifty Aseidu the Director for Girl Child Education discusses deeper on who should be involved in teaching sexuality education to children and youth. There is a need for partnership of various stakeholders such as parents, caregivers, religious bodies, schools, etc. in providing age appropriate sex information. She further advises that religious bodies in particular should stop shying away from taking a leading role in providing sex education.

Indeed, if parents fail ro educate their children, their peers will give them wrong information. No wonder they hide to search on the net for more which might not be good enough for their levels. Parents, please wake up.
