Tsugi Ashi - sliding forward or back
Ayumi Ashi - stepping forward or back
Tenkan - turning
Yoko Tsugi Ashi - side slide stepping

What are your thoughts on applying the same footwork for kenjutsu?

Hello. Thank you for watching. I don’t do kenjutsu but from what I gather the footwork would be the same. Great question.
