I learned about machine washable rugs years ago and have five now and they are the only rugs I will own. I now foster rescued dogs that have health problems & need longer care & I take care of them. Two have not been house broken…opps! I had 2 large room size 11x14 Persian rugs, each a total investment, but give them back to ex-husband a couple of years ago. Heck, I would chalk paint your old lamp on your desk a beautiful black and either leave matt or top coat with a low luster finish.

I agree with you that the black hefty lamp would be an upgrade for your desk. You are good at seeing what is "improveable". I tend to try to use what I have to the extent that it would sometimes just be better with less, ie. a more curated look. Thanks for sharing your finds!

I think the blanket with the thin black ticking could be more versatile than the other blankets.

My favorite item was definitely the lamp.🖤 For summer☀️ I would get the striped coverlet for your bed and for fall and winter I would use the alpaca and military blanket.✨🤍🤍🤍 And for the vase I think I would personally stick to vintage for the clay pots. Unless the price was really low.☺️

Hey Beauty. You just get me with your Amazon finds. The lamp.....she's a looker and would go perfect layered on your desk. I have the same lamp you currently have on your desk which I like the shape and lampshade but not a fan of gray. I saw someone DIY a similar lamp where she painted the base a deep brown and then with a sponge she lightly dabbed a light beige color to give it some texture. The steps were very forgiving and it turned out gorgeous. I might do the same. The clay pot 😭 wow now that one like you said, I don't need but it's hard to pass. It's one of my favorites as well as the stripe throw. I like the wide stripe design and the lighter fabric for this time of year. I say yes to all 3 pieces I mentioned. Love your abstract art piece. I like the clay pot but it seems like you have lots of pots that look like it. Maybe you need a different shape and color? Just saying.
