Um DUDE, Hugh Dancy played the part of SGT 1st Class Kurt Schmid in the Ridley Scott film. His scenes were mainly with Josh Hartnett who played MSGT Matt Eversmann, and Charlie Hoffheimer who played PVT Jamie Smith. Schmid was a medic in the Battle of Mogadishu. One of Dancy's first scenes was in the scene where PVT Todd Blackburn played by Orlando Bloom falls from the Black Hawk Helicopter. Please feel free to go and Google Hugh and his film credits.
